Thats just too cool. He reminded me of a white version of Jacky Chan. The way he talks and his body language. Very intense and eager to show the audience what he did. Just like when you see an interview with Jacky Chan. I agree with the reporter lady. "Love that guy"...in a strait kind of way of cause...dont want you to think...

HEHEY!!!! Thats a danish movie, and I recongnize the movie and sifu! I studied under him a few months ago. trained in the school for about 5-6 months. A pretty good school infact, but there were absolutely no sparring or fighting at all. It's was all techniques. And it's not Wing Chun. It's Wing Tsun. But it's real enough. -
Yeah about his name I found out yesterday after I wrote it. But I thought "what the hell"

Anyone who plays Tekken? I am playing Tekken 5, and I really like Jin Kasama's moves. In Tekken 4 he changed fighting style. He went for traditional Karate. I would really like to know if anyone can identify the new karate style he use, since I would really like to study it. I know this might be a stupid question and impossible to answer but I'm gonna give it a try anyway.

tell this to the people who got blood cancer or people with %50 burn. what situation you talking about , maybe you think since every day thousands of people go to operation rooms with no problem there should be enough blood every where . i post this because two days ago i saw people are in the line at front of blood center but almost all year i see O- O+ types are below minimum level in blood bank, http://www.giveblood.org/ I'm not sure where you are getting at. I was talking about car accidents, just to give an example. Where one had lost too much blood, and need more of it fast. I was saying that there is a better solution than taking blood

How to develop Chi

A side kick to the weapon-hand? Thats probably the last of the kicks I would consider to use for disarming an opponent. I'd say that roundhouse kick is better suited for that. It worked for me when i was attacked with a knife.... You must have a fast side kick. I would have to use roundhouse to be fast enough to pull that stunt off. -
Blood is not necessarily a lifesaver in these situations. There are a very small amount of people who have had their lives ruined because of it. Another thing is that there are replacements to choose over blood that is better to use than blood.

I don't really think the risk is very high when doing sidekick or flying sidekick. You can do both at a fairly close range, and straight forward. Nothing real fansy. -

And about it being unwise to get the enemy behind you is not a very good reason. You shouldn't be taken down in a fight either, but still it can happen. So it would be a good idea to learn defensive techniques for when you are lying down. Its the same with fighting enemies behind you, it can happen. -

The only high kick I would do in a real fight, intentionally atleast, is high sidekick, and front kick. Maybe a flying sidekick, because it just feels like the right thing to do in certain situations. -
Yeah I know. Nobody here knows about it. Infact I have only found two sites about this style and thats Danish sites, both with the same Shifu... I have had a feeling that the style was a fraught for a long time, but I don't see how this style can be fake considering all the classic technigues it has. All the forms and such.

And it would also be a good idea to be able to attack an opponent behind you, while attacking one infront of you at the same time, if you get into a fight with more than just one. -
I see. Well I'm glad that I asked here. I'm just going to look inside one every once in a while, but not subscribe. Thanks for your replys.

I wouldn't call it useless. It can still be good. Just requires a certain situation. -
I have been thinking about getting the Black Belt magazine. I wonder what you think about it? Is it a good magazine to read as a martial artist?

How good will Wing Tsun be in a vs battle against say western boxing, Kickboxing or Tai Boxing? Let's say it's two klones. One with WT training, and the other with one of the three others. Both klones have about 2 years of praktice in their style. How would the WT guy do against the other do you think? All in all, the question is... Is Wing Tsun good against these three other styles?

Well they do have a good reason. You will most likely be bombarded with reasons why they think high kick's shouldn't be used, but don't be fooled. High kick's are not useless. Just thought i'd say this.
