best techniques to end a fight

What about any opponent that may exploit you to the fullest? -
But the author of the thread had asked: How effective are elbows (such as those in MT) in street fights? Especially the spinning back elbow, would it work in real life? So I guess it depends on the situation and the opponents.
-
They do. Well, from a certain point of view, perhaps no martial art still could be considered as "traditional". Are we talking about Dao/Tao? Or is there another Chinese "way"? Like- Do this my "way". What would be the interpreatation of "way" in that sentence? Are we talking about way, on philosophical or religious point, or way per interpretation. Way per interpretation- This is your way. This is my way. Do it my way. Do it your way. This is the Japanese way. This is the Chinese way. This is the way it was. The way of Shaolin or this is Shaolin's Way (which how do they know what was the "way" in Shaolin) Or this is (or is not) Shaolin's way. Are we talking about a course of conduct or action? Or are we talking about an aspect, particluarity? Or In a position to become upon? Or act like, resemble, per imitation? Drunken Monkey Way Dave's Way Can it be Shaolin Jutsu?

That's a real good way to end up on the ground with a broken arm, collar bone, or neck. Don't go airborne against someone bigger then you in a street fight, especially after only one year of training. If you don't make a perfect strike the energy of your kick won't be transmitted to the target area. It will be displaced or returned to you and you will "bounce" off him and go stright down. Not a good place to be, especially after falling 5'6" in the air. Now think about what would happen to you if you're not fast enough with a flying technique and he blocks it, or worst yet, grabs your leg in the air. You'll be hanging upside down at his mercy. Does Atomic Skull Crusher ring a bell? It'll ring yours!!! Yeah what goes "UP", doesn't always come "DOWN"-as expected.

So, has it come to belive that BJJ, is better than JJJ? Or is AJJ better than KJ? And what about GJ (Goshinjutsu)?? And Kito, Yawara, Koshi, Shindo, Sappo, and Koryu. (Did I leave out any?) -

WW, you can't help him if you teach him Iron Face -
Yes, but has anyone REALLY paid attention to one of my "opening remarks" Elbows to larger opponents whom have some level of skill or ability are probably not the best choice. I did not state that elbows are not effective at ALL.
-
Yes, I agree, to a point- some females has a difficult time in clenching a fist, esp, if their "nails" are elongated. But there are a "special" ways, to clench that typeof fist. And there are "special ways" for a female to punch. Besides, a female should not go "toe-to-toe" in a "fist fight" with a larger male. She should get "help"-anything or anyone.

You are right. But from I had observed, the MT guy wasn;t drinking, he was picking up a gorlfriend. Another guy and him got into. The bouncer went in to break it up. The other guy left, the MT guy. I guess. wanted to "test" his ability.

Yes, I am not "ruling out" a elbow strike as a method-completely. Sorry for the mis-communication.
