i thought u had to condition hands for breaking techniques like roofing tiles or brick and so u dont feel the pain wen u do break techs. thats the only reason im doing knuckle conditioning so i can do break technique without damaging my knuckles more than if condtion. (if u can do break techs without feeling pain or damaging knuckles please say and explain thanx)
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO SPLITS IM ABOUT A FOOT OFF THE FLOOR IN SIDE SPLITS AND ABOUT HALF IN FRONT BUT I CAN TOUCH MY TOES NO PROB WHICH IS WHY I WONDER I CANT DO SPLITS

i can touch my toes no prob and hal split simple but full splits side and front are not quite there because i only just started karate and stretching but how long does it take to do both if i stretch mourning and night everyday (which we are told to do)
coastguard i do the same style how long does it take to go for first belt iv done low block, middle trhust, high block, front stance ,front kick and roundhouse kick in 2 lessons and sifu says ive got a grasp on it already
just wondering when u start teaching karate can u still train for a higher belt or do u stay at that eg my sifu is 4th dan in tang soo do and his brother also our sifu is a 1st dan but i think thats where there staying but every sifu i know from friends training never actually leran more just teach
first off im new to the site and my name should be tang_soo_do not ang_soo_do and second i bought this book off net but it not arrived yet and i heard good things about it for healthy eating for karate but i want to ask can u still do strength trainig with it or do u need to add more protein
