  1. yeah i drink at weekends sometimes i get drunk somtimes i dont but im only a white belt and in my teens so i thought as a get older i can cut down or cut it out or when i rank higher in belts what do u think

  3. hey i was wondering if bodyweight exercises will still increse strength and phsyque (sorry about spelling) cos i havent got any weights of my own and i was thinking of doing these till i lose weight improve physique and gain strength then ill get some to improve b.t.w i also do cardio (bag work) every day for an hour to lose unwanted pounds aswell as the bodyweight exercises eg pull ups push ups etc any advice useful
  4. i dont skip in the streets i skip in the back garden when im training eg bodyweight excercises , practicing hyungs and techniques and so on
  5. anyone hear who knows or is on the okinawa diet i just wanted to know something. ive made a diet plan using these rules but will i be getting the same benefits of the okinawa diet eg healthy body, longervity i know there already is a western diet plan in there but i just made this so it can be more flexible for me any advice helpful
  6. someone told me that running ruins your knees over time and that the best thing to do for endurance to replace running is skipping, i do other stuff like swimming.low weight explosive reps, and general classes but i would like to know is do you get the same benefits skipping as you would running. any advice helpful thanx
  7. thanx for the help ill make sure its ancored with the ag bolts. im using for same reason just to condition hands this and knuckle press ups is enogh to condition aint it. thanx for the advise

  9. how can you work for great strngth and toned muscle witout putting too much weight e.g. kinda like a bruce lee thing thin and flexible but strong and toned thanx
  10. thank you also my friend is training for mass and strength as he is a kickboxer so he exhausts the muscle and he does 1 intense training session for each muscle group a in a week but he wants to do more bag work but doesnt want to burn out the muscle needing the and he says to ask can he still do bag work everyday or is the bag still exhausting the muscle making it not recover well thanx for the advice for me aswell
  11. i got a book called "karate beginnes to black belt" and it says about makiwara training they do and how to do it but it says i have to plan it in the ground and i was wondering if you can not just nail it like a boxing bag stand because my garden is solid concrete. also before i do this is it really effecive for conditioning thank you any advice greatly appricated

  13. is a makara effective fast or is it slow conditioner like knuckle push ups. i was thinking of making 1 and also using iron palm techniques e.g. thrusting into a ucket of sand is this effective and safe or should i just do knuckle push ups and the makara
  14. i do the same thing i look around and picture what to do if that drunk comes over with a brocken bottle,or if them to guys come over with fists clenched or if that pensioner comes over with his walking stick in the air (just kidding) u get the pic

  22. i want to ask how do i know that my roundhouse kicks are right i do them and they dont feel right i know they have to spin half circle (back leg in front stance to opponent) nbut i feel as if its not right any advice helpful btw im a beginner

  24. once ive reached a certain level of acheivement in my style ill lok at whats weak and improve but i dont know what it is weak yet cos i just started.but tang soo do is a mix of martial arts too i cant remenber which 3 but its 2 chinese and 1 japanese which was combined by our grand master kim
