  1. Hello and Welcome
  2. Good job, I quit about 6years ago. You might as well be lighting money on fire if you smoke same thing right? Anyways, I quit cold turkey, just woke up and decided not to smoke one day. I feel better now and love that I can compete at a higher level. Congrates once again
  3. Hello, and welcome to KF The belts change according to the amount of posts you make. A welcomed Maritimes greeting as well.
  4. welcome bonjour
  5. Good sport, I'd rather see Kick boxing than (WTF) olympic TKD in the olympics, I think of it as a cross between boxing (awesome hand skills) and the powerkicks of wtf TKD. Very good for distances, angle fighting and it is just overall cool to watch.
  6. I use front sidekick and lead jab, both are very effective offensively and defensively.
  7. I like swiming and X-country skiing, both are great and not hard on the joints.
  8. Try to strenghten your back too, not just your abs, they are related. There is some basic yoga stretches out there that will help you out, I'm just not sure where to go to find them.
  9. I can agree with that, wow...Parker is fast.
  10. Go to the kids class and "Dominate" like Krammer. (Seinfield episode where Krammer Takes Karate). Upon entering the dojang/ dojo let out a large keap at the top of your lungs, when people come over to ask what all the commotion is tell them you are fine.
  11. The one that landed...lol How many styles did Bruce Lee train in?

  14. mmmmmmmm beer......I mean bear. Bear meat is good thou.
  15. Unless you are a genetic freak (no offense), everyone has pressure points. Maybe the applied force on the pressure point isn't being applied on the pressure point itself? It could be off by a little and not hurt. Everyones bodies are different. There are ways to deaden the nerves to lessen the pain thou. We use a lot of wrist and hand manipulation. The pressure points in the wrist are pretty painful when applied right. It also leads to arm bars and locks that are great for dissabling an unco-operative person. I have heard that under the nose if you take your finger and push up on the underside of the nose the head tilts back because there is a perssure point there.
  16. They are the catalac of shin pads, they work real good. The only complaint I have of them are they tend to slide to the side some times.
