This is an announcement to let users know that (if you haven't already realized ) that this site has been hacked by an outside party. This party has changed all the links at the top of this site to redirect to a pornography site as well as some at the bottom of the page. The only person who has 'legal' access to the Control Panel for this site is Patrick who for some reason has not been on here (rumor has it that he is sick), therefore while we are aware of the problem we are unable to fix it at this time. Please bear with us as we try to resolve this problem! Thank You! James Dasher Master (Assistant Administrator)

Just to 'refresh' your memory... I have been gone for two months on a mission trip to Honduras, Central America with an organization called Teen Missions, Int'l (http://www.teenmissions.org). I got back August 21st. I was in the mountain parts of Honduras in the middle of nowhere pretty much and didn't have access to the internet/email the entire time. Bye for now
-
Hi, everybody, I am back...I had a great trip and I am now trying to get back into the swing of things...it will take a bit (have to catch up on my 1000 or so emails, and such )...but I am back... TTYL James

I study Tae Kwon Do as my main 'art' as well, and I guess it would depend on who you are and where you go as to how much 'pressure' is put on the legs compared to the hands, I would say it is even in the Dojo that I study at.

feel free to contact me anytime... ugh, Geocities, if you decide to go with a free host there are definitely better ones than that, wouldn't recommend a free host if at all possible, but go ahead and contact me. _________________ James Dasher - [Contact Me] http://www.ifroggy.com/karateforums/forums/images/smiles/karate.gif [ This Message was edited by: jamesdasher on 2001-06-09 14:44 ]

lol, while we are on the subject here is why I would still say 50/50 while you can put up a pretty good fight with leg work if you know what you are doing...if a person has any fighting skill he will immediately move inside of your range and 'jam' you...making it impossible for you to kick him unless you can get away...therefore, your leg work becomes useless, what then? that is why I say it is 50/50 both are important; both have their reasons, and both have their points, strengths, and weaknesses, and times for use. Work the leg work develop your strength but don't forget the hands...they can be your lifesaver in a situation, or your death without the use of them.
