Just recently networked my computers together so been playing my friends on LAN Lots of fun. I have played a lot of games but AOE is one of the best. James (Also if anyone is really bored and once something to do, check out http://www.runescape.com, check out the Runescape Game, a small little online game, but it will hook you; ask Patrick and I, we both play, stupid little game, but it is addicting ) _________________ James Dasher - http://www.karateforums.com/forums/images/smiles/karate.gif [ This Message was edited by: jamesdasher on 2002-04-17 09:37 ]

Hey dose any of you know any other message boards?
jdash replied to MuayTB1's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
I am going to make a request on this one, usually we don't mind posts like this but because of some issues that have come up recently I am going to ask that if you have some suggestions for MuayTB1 that you contact her (him?) via email or PM. Thanks! James _________________ James Dasher - http://www.karateforums.com/forums/images/smiles/karate.gif [ This Message was edited by: jamesdasher on 2002-04-08 15:44 ] -

Hey, ramcalgary... They said this challenge wouldn't be martial arts related...if you have an idea...let them know...they need more. James

That was really sad for me, I was probably worse than Sai, I had basically no clue, the only one I could make an educated guess on was 20. James

lol, I am going to guess that this one was made because of me , anyway, chalk one up for us The Magnificent Six

Gradings in Judo!
jdash replied to moobrack's topic in BJJ, Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido, and Grappling Martial Arts
hmmm...you are going to have to get somebody else to answer your question currently, my school doesn't grade in Judo just teaches it (that is supposed to change sometime just hasn't yet) so while I know moves, etc. technicalities like that I am not sure of. James -
who likes/does judo????
jdash replied to kicker's topic in BJJ, Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido, and Grappling Martial Arts
Judo is fun, it also helps you to round out your skills so that you have some knowledge when the fight ends up on the floor I have been studying Judo since I restarted in the martial arts about a year ago (sadly I haven't been able to make the class for the past month because of schedule conflicts) but it is a great sport, and a lot of fun too. Yeah, I am flying this weekend (leave Friday) will be going from Colorado to Oregon. James

hey now be nice really though I wasn't trying to make it sound 'hard' just that it like anything else takes time to make quality.

Starting from the beginning, HTML code stands for HyperText Markup Language it is the basic set of commands/codes that web designers use to tell the computer how to layout a page, what colors to use, etc. If you have done anytype of programming or anything with school, etc. give it a try, it is very easy to learn once you start

Becoming a "Webmaster" First off Patrick if you know how to become a "Master" of the web I would like to know Really, though GoldDragon I understand your question, if you are really interested in learning how to develop put together your own site on the net, a couple of suggestions (to which I am sure some of the other people here who do this like I do can add to). 1. Start at the beginning: Begin by learning basic HTML, while most can be done using a software it is still good to know what goes on 'behind the scenes' so go search for a good tutorial (lots of sites out there with info, some links at the bottom) on the net, go buy a book, or go get one at your local library. 2. Practice, Practice, Pratice: Yep, just like the martial arts this takes practice, so as you learn new things use them. 3. Get To Know Others: Frequent visit forums, chat rooms, etc. where others who are and are learning visit (see links below) contribute when you can, and learn when you can't and READ 4. Some Links: Forums: http://www.sitepointforums.com http://www.edevcafe.com/forums http://www.webdevforums.com Tutorial/Training: http://www.sitepoint.com http://www.edevcafe.com http://www.webdevinfo.com There are many more (use your search engine) sites out there but those ought to start you out...Good Luck, and if you have any questions let us know. One More thing...sooner or later you will have to find a place to host your site... Free Hosts: http://www.geocities.com http://www.hypermart.com There are others Paid Hosts (9-20 USD a month) tons of these out there check out some host rating sites like http://www.hostsearch.com Good Luck!

This whole thing is unbelievable I still am in a little bit of shock I guess we had come to see us Americans as a little 'unvulnerable' and now this. I visited New York about 2 years ago...and I can still remember the WTC it was an awesome sight from the top of the Empire State building and now it is gone...I wander what is next, is this the end or only the beginning? I am betting that there will be a lot of changes nationally here in the US and worldwide in airflight, government, economy, security... Prayer is the best weapon we have right now, let's use it. James

probably partly depends on why you are doing the second art, to learn something new, to 'round' out your skills, just to say you know so much what are your reasons behind beginning a new one? James
