  1. Hello, KarateForums.com recognizes one member every month as the Member of the Month for their positive contributions to this community. The September 2005 selection is... granmasterchen. Congratulations!
  2. Hello, As I am sure you are aware, our country is now dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. This has and will affect many, many people. There is a lot of work to be done and people that need to be helped. In line with this, I wanted to put out a call to the users of this site to donate money to the charity of your choosing, if you are so inclined. If you don't know what charity to donate to, donate to the American Red Cross. Instapundit.com has a list of charities, as well. Please feel free to use this thread to recommend a charity. Thank you for reading.

  6. A good friend of mine lives in Metairie. Him and his family got out (to Florida, drove) but what they'll have to go back to... who knows (I read in a news report that there was "at least" 4 feet of water there).
  7. Welcome.
  8. Same here, Greg.
  9. Welcome back.
  10. Didn't see this until now. Yep, I'm a straight up civilian.
  11. Hello, Yes, I'll go ahead and redirect you to the thread linked above. Thanks.

  14. Hello, As there is a thread where this is already being discussed, I am going to direct you over there and close this one. http://www.karateforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=22221 Thanks.
  15. Thank you for the submission.
  16. Let's remember that the purpose of these threads is to discuss the differences and similiarities between the arts and not which one would win in a fight. Thanks.
  17. Welcome to KF!
  18. Welcome.
  19. Cool, then I don't see a reason not to tell him. Not that I did before. But, that's me.
  20. That might be the perfect Dad to have in a situation like this, actually. (Unless you think he'll go fight the guy or pull you out of the church when you like going). At least he'll take it seriously and as an important thing, better that than having a parent who thinks you are imagining it. I'll go with telling your Dad. You can only do so much. You're 14 and you've tried... this is what parents are for. I doubt they'd like what this guy did.
