  1. Personally, I dont like the belt system. Its just a way to justify how good you are, and how much better or worse you are than everyone else. It also gives a false sence of sucurity, making kids thinking that their awesome just because they are in so and so belt. on top of that it costs money for each belt, and thats a rip off. luckily my system, muay thai doesnt use belts. like the old muay thai saying " the belt is in the ring".
  2. If i were you, id go for the Kempo. I dont know alote about Kempo, but ive herd its like a mixtrue of karate and kung fu, so it should mix power attacks and fluid movements, so it would be well rounded and a good art to take.
  3. Muay Thai (rated out of 10) Ground fighting: 0 ( no ground fighting) trapping, throws, takedowns: 3 fighting (full contact) 10 Punshing: 9 kicking: 10 weapons: 0 (no weapons) Grappling: 9
  4. I think both styles are good but i think that a boxer could beat an akido fighter because akido is more of an internal style ment for meditation, building of ki and self defence, while boxing is a ring sport that uses raw power, timing and speed for the purpose of destroying an opponant
  5. Good answer Nai khanom tom, i dont think i could have said it much better my self.
