Well, out of curiosity, yeah. I doubt it is anything really interesting though. Most of it is probably just people spamming, selling stuff, pointless posts, etc. I kinda wish that one person would make a new post to be sent in there, lol. A thread that I replied to (informing them that the post was against guidelines) was put in there and my name is on there as the last message posted, lol. I get embarassed cuz people might think Im violating rules (not the best thing for a Sempai to do), lol.

No prob.Thanks. You seem to be pretty cool as well. Whoa! Thats really impressive for one black belt, but all 3 without missing a class... wow. Quite respectable. _________________ Just as the rose that symbolizes it, love can be beautiful, but you will eventually be pricked by a thorn.-ME RIP De De Ramone [ This Message was edited by: Blade13 on 2002-06-27 17:49 ]

I support the death penalty in pretty much all cases, but I would change parts of it if I could. The main thing I would change is the execution methods. I think they should die in the same way that they killed their victims. If they tortured their victim to death, we should do the same to them. If it was a quick death, then they should get the same. Im a very big "eye for an eye" person.

Hey dude. I actually like the idea. Apparently its very special to you, so why not get a tattoo of it? Tattoos are for yourself. Who cares what they "represent" to other people. What matters is that you know and you appreciate it. I love tattoos, piercings, etc. so you have my support! It shows your dedication by going through the pain for the permenant marking of your belt. You could get your style's name put on the belt, or above it in its language's characters to make it look less like the "black band of mourning" *sigh* but I think it would look cool on its own. Again, other people's opinions dont matter. I dont have a black belt tattoo or anything, but I'd say go for it. Have you ever gotten a tattoo before? If not, I'd recommend going to a lot of tattoo websites and looking at all of the FAQ's. Just so ya know.... only the outline of the tattoo is done with one needle. Its usually filled in with 3,6, or 9. I'd pick 9 cuz it sounds like it would hurt more (Yes, I said MORE). Im not sure though.

The Martial art movie stars
Blade13 replied to Nickgarren's topic in Martial Arts Gaming, Movies, TV, and Entertainment
David Carradine is one of the slowest people I've ever seen. No threat there. Althogh Jean Claude Van Damme isnt the best martial artist, I think he could hold his own in a street fight. He used to have a job as a bouncer. Thats how he got discovered for movies. He beat the crap out of a movie executive, lol. Jackie Chan would probably be someone that could definately fight if he had to. His american movies are all flashy and stuff, but he has a lot of useful martial arts talent that can be seen in his old movies. I dont know about Jet Li. He's a wushu stylist. He has said (on his official website) that he sees no point in training for combat because he thinks its pointless in today's society, so he chose wushu. Sammo Hung is in the same boat as Jackie Chan. He and Jackie trained together. I have no doubts in Steven Segals fighting ability. I cant stand him though! Theres a huge list of reasons behind this. lol Mark Dacascos could undoubtedly fight with speed and power. His father, Al Dacascos, founded Wun Hop Kuen Do, and still teaches in Portland, Oregon, I think. -

I love that site. As for the Ninja thing. The minute you begin training in Ninjutsu or Ninpo, you are a Ninja. The definition of Ninja is someone who trains in Ninjusu or Ninpo. Thats kinda sounds like I'm repeating myself.... *shrugs* whatever. Its like Karateka (someone who trains in Karate), Capoeista (someone who trains in Capoeira), Boxer (someone who boxes, lol), etc.

Hey ZR440, I AM going to see a band with talent. *points to my Linkin Park poster*

Welcome aboard! Happy birthday!

I've seen it 3 times. haha Here are my views.... 1st Time- LOVED it! Except the ending. Its official: Peter Parker is an idiot. 2nd Time- (Was there against my will) I was in pure Hell because I couldnt quit thinking of the ending 3rd Time- (Against my will again, lol) It was an awesome movie again (Except for the ending of course.) because I relaxed and let myself like it again. Anyway, it was an awesome movie. I liked it all, except the ending. The ending is evil. lol Those fight scenes were pretty awesome. We need to be kinda careful on this thread. I dont want to give everything away about the movie for those who haven't seen it. (Notice why I didn't describe the ending, lol)

It was probably for the best though.... never go to a rock show with a concussion, lol. (I got a bad concussion 2 days earlier)

I havent been to any concerts lately, but I will be going to A LOT more soon. HEHE My friends dad recently got a job that gives him connections to get free tickets/backstage passes to any show we want! He offered me some tickets to the Anger Management Tour, but.... Mom wont let me go. lol Shes not a fan of Eminem. haha He knows Eminem personally though. My friends ex-stepmother knew Eminem back before he was famous. My friend met him before her and his dad got divorced. Eminem is payin for his plane ticket to Atlanta for the show! Lucky dog... I was skeptical about all of these claims until last night when he proved it by having the tickets! He said that he was definately gonna get Linkin Park tix and give me a couple of those.

Im typically a leg fighter because my legs are really fast and powerful. The last fight I was in was only one kick. lol He tried to kick me, I caught his foot and kicked him in the groin. He fell to the ground and stayed there for a couple of minutes, curled up in a ball, of course.

Gung fu or Kung fu
Blade13 replied to kickmaster's topic in Kung Fu, JKD, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Chinese Martial Arts
Its the same thing. They both mean "skill learned over time" (Although, its been translated into many different English terms, all of them mean basically the same thing. I just like that translation.). Anyway, they're the exact same thing, just different pronounciations. -
Glossary of Martial Arts terms
Blade13 replied to Bitseach's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
I think that it could be a long list organized by style. The styles could be listen in alphabetical order, and the terms would be listed in alphabetical order as well, under the style heading. I dont think we would need style descriptions. The link to kickboxing.com is enough, I think, since it has a lot of style descriptions. It would be a lot easier than having a separate page for each style's terms. Having the separate pages for each style would look more organized, but the long list would be easier to make, lol. -
Hey Jack, how was the Lostprophets show? Are they better live than they are on the CD? On the CD, a lot of the songs sound SO much alike. Especially tracks 1 and 10! Its like the same song. I got mad cuz I wasted my money on the album.
