Agh! Every time I try to go there, I get this commucations error message and can't go. I'd really like to check it out, but can't. Ive been trying for about 3 weeks. I think its just that my comp sux.

I like the colors. Perhaps something where you could choose the site colors would be good. Ya know, like where you could change how the site looks on your comp under your preferances? Ive seen some forums that do that. Just a thought.

I had to do something like this for a school project last year. I didnt really put a lot of effort into it though. Just enough to get an A+. I would like to find out about my history though. The stuff that was required for the project wasnt very informative (visual aid,family tree that goes back 3 generations,family recipe,etc.) and school is the worst enemy of my motivation. I work faster w/o a deadline and thats all school has. How are you doing your research? I don't have any contact w/ my dad's side of the family, so I'm kinda in the same boat as you. (except my dad just left me about six years ago. He didn't pass away.) The main thing I know is that my ancestors on that side were Vikings. *puts on helmet* Aside from that, I know almost nothing about my history.

Been watchin the movie marathon on TNN haven't ya? I wish I would have stuck around for that movie. The description my cable gave me made the movie sound crappy. Apparently it was wrong. Anyway, I think Jet Li's Fist Of Legend was an AWESOME movie. Very little special effects and flying. Gotta have the love for Bloodsport though. The original Game Of Death would probably be up there with the best (the version that was on the AMC special), but the one that was released wasnt that good.

Don, Im sorry if it sounds like I'm mocking you, but I'm curious. Why wouldn't you shoot someone to save your property? Do you mean that you wouldnt shoot a mugger who tries to take your wallet? Or that you wouldnt shoot them even if they broke into your house and started taking things while they thought you were asleep?

Yeah, Ive seen it a few times. Its not a favorite of mine though Theres a lot of stupid stuff in it. Some great fight scenes though.

WHAT!?! They tell the GA troopers (my mom is one) not to shoot unless they have a weapon and their life is in danger. Heck, they arent even allowed to do a lot of damage when they fight back. I couldn't be a cop. Ugh. Anyway, my stance depends on the person I'm fighting. Man! I cant believe I left off Michael Jai White! He's awesome. He was Seth in Universal Soldier 2 and the guy who stopped the white guy from punching Steven Segal in Exit Wounds. lol I dont know that characters name. I read a few pages on him in Black Belt magazine. He could definately fight off some people. Gumby- So what if it was in bad taste? Well, some people actually PREFER the prison life. The food isnt that bad. They actually eat pretty well in there. Trust me, I've got a friend who was sent to prison, but has become my penpal. Also, my mom is a trooper and I've been in prisons plenty of times (On the good side of the metal doors, lol. Never in the jumpsuit). If you've seen the Shawshank Redemption, you understand how some people begin to prefer prison. Others are just lazy people who dont want to bother getting a real life and taking care of themselves so they go to prison where its done for them.

I usually wear a black gi. The only time I wear something else is when Im in a tournament (If the rules allow this uniform) or doing a demo. My other gi (Which isnt really a gi, its more of a uniform) is the red and black sleeveless uniform from century. I was wearing it in my first tournament. Now it holds a big sentimental value. Too bad a lot of tournaments dont allow sleeveless uniforms. Drat it all...

LMAO! EVIL GIBBONS! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (Im hyper, lol) There is no such thing as dirty fighting in my book. If someone tries to hurt me, I would have no problem breaking their arm to where the bone poked through the skin and stabbing them in the eye with the bone. (Although, I doubt I would ever try that, lol) Its for survival, so anything goes. I dont care if its not honorable or anything. It gets the fight over with quickly.
