  1. i go everday for an hour and an hour and a half on tuesday and fridays. i also go and help out with the childrens/early class on monday and wednesday for an hour. also, i am in tae kwon do
  2. if i miss class, or my routine is not how it is supposed to be i flip out. everyone at my school tells me that everyone burns out and that i will someday, but you just have to keep pushing yourself through.

  4. my school teaches the: sai bo-- and then some people learn kali, kamas, and nunchucks
  5. i train for all of the above. i love the excercise and the self-defense, forms, and sparring, but most of all i love the people.
  6. i help out the kid class twice a week and i have to spar them. i don't feel comfortbble sparring them like i spar other people, but i do spar them.
  7. like, i'm actuallay an intermediate colored belt(purple) in tae kwon do, so i just put high, because it's not low?
  8. what kind of tae kwon do are you starting in? i was just wondering. and everyone anwsered the other questions, but i can do the splits. it doesn't take too long if you stretch a lot to get high side kicks. how high are you wanting them anyways?
  9. i haven't seen any floppy weapons! the bo staffs we have aren't floppy.
  10. hey kevin. i am also in tae kwon do and i am in chung do kwan as well. i have never met anyone else who has been from the chung do kwon assoc. well, welcome and have fun.
  11. i only think someone should be skipped in belts if the person already knows another similar martial art and came from a different school. a new martial artist should have to wait out the whole belt system.
  12. my place is the same as sansoouser's place
  13. you have shorter legs most likely so you need to stand in closer to them b/c you can reach them w/ your legs, but their legs are too long to hit you normally. and don't back up. if you get hit just act like you didn't just keep doing what you were b4 you got hit!
  14. in my tae kwon do class we have people off all types. young/old. slim/ heavier. and we make it work. like there are people who are more flexible than others and who can do moer things. so, maybe you could try something like that?
  15. try getting a partner and have them stand opposite of you. both of you put your right foot back and when your partner steps back then you kick him/her. do this down and back after/before class or whenever. when you get the hang of it then add different things like have them slide back instead of step and then you do a switch then roundhouse or something. it might work!?
  16. what exactly is a Mcdojo? i have been wondering that for a long time.
  17. does anyone know how zero is said in korean b/c i've looked at so many web-site with termonology and i can't find it anywhere!?
  18. yeah, that gets on my nerves, but i'm used to it now. once my friend and i were wrestling and she grabbed my hair and i almost broke her wrist on accident but, like it was just something that happened. i didn't even think about it. my hand just like grabbed hers. it was weird, but i guess it means that i am learning something.
  19. why don't you get it from your school? or instructor?
  20. might as well, it might just come in handy one day
