we show the kids in our school something simple like a punch like 50 times let alone a side/ roundhouse. i am almost a blue belt and still don't have them perfect..they are just supposed to get better.
i hate those nights. i am the highest colored belt at the school now and i feel like some of the lower belts are watching me and i hate it when i am not doing things how they should be done, or when i don't have balance.
Says who? Wushu isn't TKD ya know. I always thought the chinese arts were supposed to promote health, which doesn't include ruined joints. you don't have to be so mean. jeez. i was just saying that b/c they probally get hurt learning that stuff and taking falls. my bad.
we mostly do the same thing KoreanTiger, minus all of the weapon forms. we only have people doing bo and sai so far. although, our instructor allows us to make our own up for competing.
i love watching that sort of things. it is soo cool. it amazes me again everytime i see it. just think of how bad those kids joints and things will be when they hit like 40 though! they will be tore up.
i am not a black belt yet(almost halfway!!) but i will be eager to learn after i finally get mine because they learn so many new things such as forms and diff. stuff. i can't wait! alot of people get burnt out around red-brown belt( tae kwon do belt system) and most of them have told me that they got all pumped up again after they got their black belt.
i have a dog named Bentley who is mostly yellow lab and something else. and i have a siamese cat named sneeker b/c she always sneek into the house. then she had kittens and we kept 2 of them, Ugly and Stripes.
