Your Journey has only just begun so don't end it i would be happy if i was a shodan and ill keep going and going being a shodan is like a white belt but only black and do not give up there are some people who are 1st degree and old but they still keep on going and going I started karate at age 36 so maybe at age 40 im a 1st degree and i will still keep on going remember indomitable spirit is the key meaning never give up on what your doing you need to have that conquering spirit you can do it

My 20015 Martial Arts Goal are 1st goal is to be brown belt by December 2015 2nd win More Trophy's and medal in my Karate Tournament 3rd Stay Healthy and Fit 4th no high blood pressure

No My school does advertise prices but i know some schools do but if ya go to my school they will tell ya the prices

Martial Arts was already in my blood my 3 of my cousin did it 2 did judo 1 did kung fu my 3 of my nephew did Ma also 1 did american kenpo 1 did taekwodo and the other 1 is doing shotokan and his a brownbelt and his only 8 years old 2 of my niece did it also and one is purple one is yellow Me im a green Belt in shotokan and almost Blue in American kenpo and I love tournament and Belt testing i get exited all the time i have 4 1st place Trophie in Shotokan and 2 3rd place in American Kenpo so yeap it runs in my Fam bam

well 1st ask your Instructor if he will let ya teach and make sure you have enough knowledge on what ya doing because you might teach kids or adult depending and you have to explain on how to do the technique right

My nephew started at age 5 his 8 know and his almost a brown belt in shotokan karate do. also my niece will start after her birthday

My proud Moment as a Martial artist a lot When I was in shotokan and entered like 4 tournament i win 1st place also im in the bakersfield news paper with my felllow karatekas when I was in Kenpo Karate I was in the Black belt club Swat Team and I have outstanding attendance patch and i also have a Black Belt Club patch and soon to get my Swat team Patch and I entered kenpo karate tournament 2 times last year and this year and I got 1st place twice and ive been in Kenpo Karate for almost 9 months now and hopefullly to get my blue belt next month or this month

well my Kenpo Karate class is going to ed Parkers international karate tournament on July everybody can come by the time ill be blue belt almost green belt

i dont go outside doing my kenpo or shotokan when theres a tournament i do it and only my fb friends and my co djs know i do karate and my family but dont do it outside its a secret

I did shotokan for 2 years and my organization association is SKIF and we don't do sports we do more on technique and forms

Its better to practice kata slow because that way you can perfect your stances your moves and strike you can make it pop by putting more power but slow or you can do slow but on the trike you do it hard and fast

I'm a Green Belt in Shotokan and Purple in American Kenpo Karate

My Nephew and I trained Together at shotokan Karate Do i was a 7th kyu green and my nephew was purpble belt 5 kyu but then i left shotokan because i had to moved back to oxnard california again so know my nephew is high purple 4th kyu then i joined American kenpo karate at oxnard and im currently a purpble belt i just past my purpble belt on march 14

Nah nah really were all the same no matter how good you are there's a person gonna be better than you so were all equal there's this guy we tested both for yellow as soon as he became orange belt he became advance that he was already purple belt and we was still in orange belt and his testing for his blue belt maybe next week and we barely got our purple belt last 3 weeks ago so yea but were all equal im in the black belt club and he aint so yea so its all good

NO never have envy or jealousy because that's bad in a Martial arts world you joined martial arts to learn and to to have self discipline not to compete against each other. so what if the other is better than you just train hard and harder and you will be better than them

im a purple belt and im studying American Kenpo karate for 7 month so my goal is to improve my technique form and stances also win 1st place in the tournament also be a black belt soon and be 2nd gen sifu with the adult and kids

1st of all all mcdojo are the one who is concern with the Money and not the student and the sifu sensie or master don't teach them proper basic or the master doesn't even know what his doing 2nd they let the student pass their test with in a week or a couple of weeks without knowing the basic that will cost money caused you have to pay another money for the test 3rd they make you advance even if your a beginner that will caused you money to caused you have to pay for your belt your new GI and stuff and even if your 10 your a black belt and in the black belt club swat team etc even if your sloppy at your form technique they will steal pass you 4th you change contract every year like pay 200 every year just to pay for black belt club In my dojo it takes 3 months to pass each belt until you get to green belt then it takes 6 month to pass it

Yes in our karate class its never serious sometimes we can be hella funny and we just laugh for one instant we were doing our blocks strikes punches and one of the instructors fart it was so loud everybody laugh omg thats why I love my dojo and i love my sifus they funny as heck but sometimes we can be serious

I used to Take Shotokan karate do and I was a green belt and know Im taking American Kenpo karate and im a orange belt working on getting my purple belt this year My Sifu Jesus Flores his a 9th degree and head instructor of Flores Bros Kenpo karate and he gives everybody to be in the swat team and to be in the black belt club Well 1st you have to be orange belt or higher and 6 months training and have a perfect attendance show great and positive attitude in class and you have to be recommended by your instructor then you will be part of the black belt club all the kids adult can joined as long as you meet all the requirements Once your in the Black Belt Club You can attend black Belt Club member classes receive a Black Belt Club Belt You can receive all discount on all items purchase also in the event or tournament you can get discount and No tuition as long as you remain BCC member

I just receive a letter from Flores Bros. Kenpo Karate that I'm qualified to joined the Elite Black Club and I was speechless and shocked i never expected that I will be chosen all i need to do is fill out the application and ill be set to be in Black Belt Club 4 life and Flore Bros 4 life Thank you Sifu Jesus Lori and all Flores Bros Staff for trusting in me and for choosing me to be in the black Belt club I really Appreciated it and I will not let ya Down
