  1. im confused i usually train every day but i always have trouble figuring out what to do with the time for example some days i will just do kata other days i will work on muscle building exercises then other days i'll do muscle building and flexibility then other days i might do all 3 but i won't have time enough for alot of each 1 anyway i need and organized schedule thats the same everyday any advice?

  12. Whether spoken or not, people are biased to their own side. Cultural norms, parental guidance, moral compass or Terms of Service can make a person be civil. That is excellent. Civility should be the norm. But respect beyond civility can not be truly given on ethics or by force of rule alone. To expect such is to cheapen real respect. If everyone with a serious disagreement could be as civil as here, there would be no war. Something else to consider, it is entirely possible to respect someone while thinking that one view they hold is ridiculous. Lots of people respect me who don't believe in aliens or evolution. Try as I might to sway opinions, many will still consider those dumb. And that's okay. solid post by master pain!

  14. When are you supposed to draw the line and seriously use your martial arts on someone if they shove you or would that be to soon to draw the line and if they punch you would that be to far?

  23. thank you for your opinion and not arguing but i have used it effectively in sparring matchs against much higher belt ranks it worked well for me when my opponent retracted the foot and kept it there instead of putting it back in place however i still hardly ever use it

I have made a makiwara and i think it works very well u get a board that is 3 and 1 half inches wide 1 and 1 half inches thick and tappers down to a centimeter and 7 or 8 feet tall then bury it down to shoulder height for more specific instructions go here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Makiwara
