Icetuete Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 i am not doing a martial art yet but would like to begin in the next weeks. though i am not even sure WHAT to begin, i think some more cardio could not be wrong. is there anything apart from jogging or push ups that help me prepare for bringing something into the first lesson cannot be wrong. thank u in advance.
Icetuete Posted May 20, 2003 Author Posted May 20, 2003 ah - so jogging it is. too bad cause i thought there might be certain kind of gymnastic or something. thanks anyway!
chh Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Jogging/running is probably the most straightforward option, yes. I've found it to be the most effective for fast improvement in myself, and boy I hate it. You could also get a jump rope, do stuff like jumping jacks and star jumps, swim laps, get on a bike, take a cardio class at a health club, play racquetball or tennis or soccer or _____...there are always other options if you look for them!
Looneyas Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 I would set up at Circuit Station have like 10 stations 1 sit ups 2 push ups 3 jumping jacks ETC so u are getting your muscles ready to train and also u work on ya Cardio as well. IAMA_chick Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 don't worry about it. you will see what you need to do when you start. you can run though. especially distance. Tae Kwon Do15-years oldpurple--belt
