I'm curious, what does that note over the makiwara say?

WARNING. Do not hot the striking post unless you know how.

Since I'm the only karateka at work no one hits it or has tried to.

I am doing stretching, push-ups, crunches, squats, lunges and the 30 minutes squat challenge (reached 12.5 minutes now) nearly everyday except the training day.

Basic punches, kicks and blocks once or twice weekly

I am willing to add running twice weekly soon :)

All bodyweight exercises for strength training. Lots of running and lots of kata to finish off my workout! It always feels great.

I need to have every day planned for the week. I train for up to an hour and a half every day except dojo day. The first part of each day is the same and on each day I choose one kata to practise in depth with its oyo bunkai. I also review the points for the weeks dojo day. Things that my teacher explained or corrected for me. So my home training looks like this:

Stretch

Front, side and roundhouse kicks both sides

Kihon kata 1-5 3 times each

One kata 10 times, focus on correct form

Oyo bunkai for same kata.
