ps1 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I have a Kamikaze. It was less expensive and the quality is phenomenal! "It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius."
JWLuiza Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I have a Kamikaze. It was less expensive and the quality is phenomenal!I voted for Tokaido, just because that and Pro-Force (14 oz) are the only ones i've tried. I've heard good things about the Kamikaze... But if you live in the states you should look for Tokon, not Kamikaze. Tokon is the US brand of Kamikaze.Good luck!
ps1 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I didn't even realize they changed brands in the US. That tells you how long it's been since I had to purchase a new one. I've had mine for about 6 years now I think. Thanks for the info. "It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius."
Ninjanoir78 Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I think you live in UK, go with kaiten(shirai line Kamikaze) https://www.kamikaze.de , monarch (14oz brushed, top of the line), america (14oz canvas, best quality-price) or okinawa (13oz-brushed- Jacket and sleeve shorter). Jimmy Rancourt
lordtariel Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I'm a little on the fence between Tokaido and Kamikaze. The Tokaido fit better out of the package for me but both are very good quality. I haven't really broken in my Kamikaze though. There's no place like 127.0.0.1
marie curie Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I've only experienced the kamakaze, but the person who had it liked it a lot You suck-train harder.......................Don't block with your faceA good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving. -Lao Tzu

Montana Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I've used Shureido gi for a long time. Can't hardly wear the dang thigs out! Of course I have 3-4 of them, and they get rotated...that helps. Supurb quality. If you don't want to stand behind our troops, please..feel free to stand in front of them.Student since January 1975---4th Dan, retired due to non-martial arts related injuries.
