OK - Im looking for a new Gi. Im looking for a 12-14oz white cotton Gi, but which in your opinion is best?

My short list so far is:

Tokaido TSA

Kamikaze Monarch

Shureido TK10

Blitz White Diamond

Which Gi would you go for and why?

I have a Kamikaze. It was less expensive and the quality is phenomenal!

I voted for Tokaido, just because that and Pro-Force (14 oz) are the only ones i've tried. I've heard good things about the Kamikaze... But if you live in the states you should look for Tokon, not Kamikaze. Tokon is the US brand of Kamikaze.

Good luck!

I didn't even realize they changed brands in the US. That tells you how long it's been since I had to purchase a new one. I've had mine for about 6 years now I think. Thanks for the info.

I'm a little on the fence between Tokaido and Kamikaze. The Tokaido fit better out of the package for me but both are very good quality. I haven't really broken in my Kamikaze though.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

I've only experienced the kamakaze, but the person who had it liked it a lot

I've used Shureido gi for a long time. Can't hardly wear the dang thigs out! Of course I have 3-4 of them, and they get rotated...that helps. :brow: Supurb quality.
