Orion Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I've never really tried but i'd probably be able to do about the same as..................... little kicker, my biceps look like little peas. Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.
little kicker Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 well iv been weight lifting for quite a while but can still only lift 15lb ) :For an 18 year old woman, I'd say that's not too shabby. Try doing lower reps (4-6) for a couple weeks and you should see it jump a bit. With respect,Sohanthanks sohan! i'll try your tips. speedagressionsurprise
Toby Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Didn't Bruce Lee used to be able to hold 2 120 lbs dumbbells? I reckon I read that somewhere. "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering." - Bruce Lee

little kicker Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 is there a site were u can see the average for your age group or something like that? speedagressionsurprise
bushido_man96 Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 is there a site were u can see the average for your age group or something like that?It would be kind of difficult to determine an age-based average, because there are so many variables. Height, weight, muscle build and type, etc. You really can't compare yourself to others of the same age, or any other age for that matter. Just concentrate on what you can do, and on improving, and the leave the rest as it is. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

Sohan Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 it's strange though that even though i lift a really low weight im quite developed muscle way.hmm dont know why / :Strength and muscle size are not necessarily directly related. Strength is more of a function of nervous system coordination, so it is easily possible to be very strong and not very big, and vice-versa.With respect,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth."
