I thought KC's offense was moving better this week, until they had a bad possession inside the 5 that almost ended in disaster.  That defense made two goal-line stands that were just amazing.  I reall

Well, I'm waiting for the UFL to get started now.  Anyone else watch any of those games?

From time to time but not as often as I should.

The Miami Dolphins have decided to clean house, releasing several players Monday morning including Tyreek Hill and Bradly Chubb.  Tua Tagovailoa is also on the trade block with the Dolphins reportedly willing to eat a bunch of his salary to get rid of him.   The new HC and GM in Miami are shaking things up quick.

Yes they are.  Shortly thereafter, Chris Jones sent a message on social media, tagging Hill and basically stating it's time for him to come home.  I'm not sure how I'd feel about that, especially coming off this recent injury.  No doubt Hill is a unique talent, and Reid has always been good in dealing with players that tend to be troubled off the field and keeping them in line.  Maybe it would be good to have him back, if he is healthy and affordable.

Hopefully with all of these hirings and such that teams will somehow get better on both sides of the ball. That’s what a fan would like to see each season.

GO COWBOYS!!

Some news that has been kicked around for a while now, the Chiefs appear to be relocating, moving across the border to Kansas for a new stadium with a targeted opening date of 2031. This would take the Chiefs out of historic Arrowhead Staduim, which has been their home since the early 70s.  A couple years ago there was a push to get both the Chiefs and Royals taxpayer funding for a new stadium, but the vote did not pass.  Rumors then started about the team moving to Kansas.  This coming down the same week the team restructured Mahomes contract to open up cap space.

Something similar could be happening to the Chicago Bears, as talk has heated up about a possible move to Indiana.  The Bears have also been trying to get a new stadium deal in recent years, either upgrading Solider Field or building a new stadium, but now there is a chance the team could end up in Hammond, Indiana, about 30 miles outside of Chicago.

Wild to think that two historic franchises could be on the move at the same time.

The KC stuff was in the works for a while.  I thought it was finalized a while ago.  It will be strange to not be at the old Arrowhead Stadium.  I had not heard about that story with the Bears.  Very interesting.

Wonder if the Chiefs owner will build another apartment for him inside the new stadium like he did at Arrowhead Stadium?!?

Dumb question…after the Chiefs move across the border, will they still be the KANSAS CITY Chiefs?!?

Good question.  My guess is yes, they will because the 49ers play in Santa Clara, which is closer to San Jose than San Francisco, yet kept the city in the name.  The Jets and Giants have been playing in New Jersey for decades but are called New York.  So for those reasons I am guessing they will, but I don't know.

That’s right because there’s Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS.

:D
