italian_guy Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 Hello, I'm 183 cm (6 feet) and 95 kg (about 211 lbs) I have some muscle but I still consider myself a bit overweight. I would like to be somewhere around 86 kg (191 lbs), or 3 inches taller
tommarker Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 You at least need to get in shape if your gonna take up a martial art because some obese people can't stretch because there overweight. I don't think obesity and flexibility have much to do with each other. Many overweight people are quite flexible. Sumo wrestlers, for example, are usually quite limber. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.

Sorynn Posted January 20, 2004 Posted January 20, 2004 5'9" and 185-190 pounds. I marked muscular in the pole. I would have checked athletic and muscular if two choices could be selected. Cheers!
Rich_2k3 Posted January 20, 2004 Author Posted January 20, 2004 Weight and flexability are very different, infact most sumo's are very strong underneath all that fat. "When my enemy contracts I expand and when he expands I contract" - Bruce Lee
searcher Posted January 22, 2004 Posted January 22, 2004 I am 6'4" and I weigh 220 lbs. I can do three way on the splits. My Wife is 5'7" and weighs 120lbs, excellant roundhouse. "let those who shed blood with me be forever known as my brother."
