  1. Well i only go once a week because that is all that is availabe, but i practice steadyily at home and i would go more than once a week if i could. I stay for about two hours, but really dont bother to record the time when im training at home.
  2. Well you sound like an eaggresive person so i thing you would like northern shaoling kung fu. It seems you already have the stamina and strength, u just need the speed now so i think you would enjoy that
  3. Well it really just depends on the persons will to keep at it, i cant find any reason to quit it besides money and pain, but pain at a moderate level can be enjoyed.

  5. well he trained every day nonstop, and for that reason he got a busted blood vessel in his head which caused a severe headache, for this he took some pain medicane a friend gave him, he had an allergic reaction and died, so i think his weakness was that he trained to much. I know it sounds wierd, but its true, you can at least take a day off to just rest. He didnt and it lead to his downfall, But i do consider him the father of martial arts in America and my respect for him is great. If you would like to learn more there are many sites, just google him, and They also have some biographic films of him that you could probably find easily
  6. Well i have been taught by people in different styles of kung fu buy my cousin, but i have never actually trained in it. But i do take a Shotkan karate class and am a green belt so far. I think i have been in for about a year and a half.
  7. Hey I was wondering if any of you guys know of a site that explains hoplology( The study of the history of armed and unarmed combat) really well.
  8. well in our shotokan we take test up to the ninth dan, but to get to the tenth dan all the other black belts must agree that u deserve it but there is no test for 10th dan
  9. I think if there is more than one and they are built run, but if theres only 1 take your chances and fight, unless he has a weapon
  10. i take shotokan karate my dojo doesnt
  11. Just keep a regular workout schedule
  12. I think you should start at white, so that you will get used to it.
  13. It think its good for endurance training, but not good for real fights.
  14. I did here that chuck norris was a black belt in it, but im not sure about the art itself
  15. I never have and hopefully never will
  16. I get to watch it sometimes and find it interesting
  17. It sounds very interesting, it keeps you under pressure, works your mind and physical ability.
  18. I used to be the same way, but beleive me its worth it to stick with it.
  19. I probably wouldnt say it was effective, but then again you never know
  20. I think it can help you by making you more alert and you would be able to remember certain aspects of the art better.
  21. I dont know forms, but i know snake, bear, dragon, tiger, and pheonix styles
  22. I think it depends on what im training in, but overall in a dojo.
  23. well i wish i could say i wasnt, but that would be a lie yes i am afraid to die.
  24. I would say samurai because they are also trained in jujitsu, but i think you dont have to be trained in an art to be good at fighting. the samurai sword would also be easier to handle and sharper, but i think the knight would be stronger because of the time he grew up in. But that would be a very interesting fight, and it might come to were the samurai didnt win fast enough and then think he lost and commited haru kari, im not sure if i spelled that right but it means suicide. It would be a pretty tough battle.
