  1. neck bridges. front and back then add weights and do them
  2. ntakes time! i used to stop at defending leg attacks now they can't get to my legs. get in your grappling stance and move around. shoot some shots and practice sprawling
  3. being good at takedowns and defense. Good striking skills (kicks to slow them down) from the feet. knowing how to get the mount or control from top and elbow them to death. knowing sweeps from bottom and some subs. Basically everything. well rounded
  4. did you even read my post? I meant for YOU in a street encounter, not a policeman..... I think there might have been some confusion in the original post as I apparently misunderstood it too. While I can't speak for bushido_man, I know my confusion came from this part: I took that as saying if I was a police officer, what ten moves would I need to know. My ten moves for a streetfight would be greatly different than one of a LEO (which I'll have to get to another time) oh sorry...BUt if i was a policeman, bigger guns
  5. You are very wrong.......A guy who goes to gym every day and train hard, may be uber strong.....I saw body builders doing bench press with 500 pounds , isn´t that strong ??? no i am not very wrong some are strong but most have the body of a corvette and then engine of a lawnmower, if you know what i mean....Bodybuilders train for muscle, not strength
  6. did you even read my post? I meant for YOU in a street encounter, not a policeman.....
  7. The Ten Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Moves Every Police Officer Should Know these probably have helped them tremendously even knowing only 10 moves! So here's the twist, if you could only know 10 moves for a street encounter what would they be, they can be grappling or striking oriented. for me it would be basic and frequent positions that you get stuck in. 1. Doublelegtakedown (good to know how to take it to the ground) 2. GnP (knowing how to throw elbows from on top) 3. Mount position 4. Knowing how to kimura the top man from guard position 5. RNC 6. Leglock ,easy to finish them off with after the double 7. Counter to the Headlock 8. Knowing how to keep opponent in the closed guard 9. Countering the shirt grab, with a wrist lock 10. Knowing how to close the distance and get to the clinch From here the encounter could be finished like this easily: Tackle them with a double and easily finish them with a leglock or mount them, throw some elbows, let them roll over and proceed to choke them out with a RnC. So what are your ten moves in a street encounter?
  8. usually get ganged up in jail with knives and stuff......not good for grappling...learn some muy thai and weapon fighting
  9. chuck is an excellant spraw-and-brawl fighter but he wouldn't be able to be that fighter without wrestling, no one style will work to well alone...
  10. ooo i thought you meant spinning back fist....is a regular backfist similar to a jab not getting your hips in it?
  11. and that was only a cross. a hook or upper cut might do better
  12. matt is a lot of a better wrestler so diego can't use his GnP like usual. Matt is also way to strong for him. If matt loses to gsp then maybe he'll diego will ge tto fight him Josh-kos is also up and coming
