  10. Actually its the karate-ka not the style. Personally, i think all styles have there own advantages and disadvantages. Its up to the karate-ka to perfect there technique, because no style is complete, it goes behond. Simo
  11. Haha small world eh! im still thinkin of what to do, thinkin of joinin the police force, but i want to continue doing Goju Kai. 19. yeah i love Hardcore/Metal, but because i live in Australia, im mostly into australian hc, like Parkway Drive, Carpathian, I Killed The Prom Queen and some local bands. But others like Throwdown, As I Lay dieing and August Burns Red.
  20. The instructors id like to train with are (Deceased) Gogen Yamaguchi : Simply because he is the orginal source for Goju Kai, and really who wouldnt like to get back to the orginal source. Jigoro Kano: I only touched on Judo back in school, but to undertake judo with Jigoro Kano wuld b a treat, because i personally think it wuld benifit me in karate and in self dence and confidence. (Alive at Present) Goshi Yamaguchi: My Idol (As well as my own instructor) and person i look up to most to date. Would b a pleasure.
  21. I think tht the resources on the internet are a good thing with MA, but i wuldnt use the whole source as a guide, maybe comparing text and whats it on it.. Best to be 1 to 1 or 1 to many with an instructor
  22. when i first started karate i trained in the gym 3 times a week, tryin to bulk, becuase i thought it wuld benifit my karate. Which in a little way it did, through strength, but personally my opinion wuld b conditioning, because it focuses on your own progression in karate. But it all depends on the person, some say they dont condition because of the effects tht culd happen later in life.. like i said my opinion, others my disagree

  24. best seminar i went to, was one in sydney, with Shihan Brain Mackie. Was a real enlighting seminar, espically training wit one of Australia's most knowledgeable and tacitical karate exponent. But also at the seminar, there were some of australians best Goju Kai instructors aswell eg, Tommy Curtis Shihan and Mark Burton Shihan.
