yeah, it is a good tool for revising from but not learning from.

i dont agree that kata will make you a good fighter. only sparring can make you a good fighter, you need to practise fighting to become a fighter. if you just do kata your just an artist not a martial artist.

i have heard that doin knuckle conditionin and stuff like that can mean you cant use your hands when you get old. and that if i condition my hands with knuckle push-ups and stuff like that will damage then heavyly in later life. i want to condition my hands to make breaks abit easyer and to reduce pain if i need to punch things/people. what are your views on conditioning?

ive heard that kobudo is good for weapons but Tobias is the man for that so ask him.

id love to do paintballing but ive never had the time or know where to do it. but one day........

i beleive TKD is effective because i have heard many storys from other students. we also spar alot which helps me learn to use blocks and dodging. SC-JJ i recon would be effective but it would take quite a while and alot of practise to get those techniques smooth.

we dont do learn anything for that range.

who in your oppinion is the greatest MA in the world (could be past or present) and why? IMO Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha is the greatest MAist in the world, Gen Choi said that he was the most advanced TKD student ever. and hes an amazing blocke. so who do you guys think?
