Your right young kids are not given all the facts but young kids can't deal with them either. Why do you tell young kids the dog went to heaven? So you don't have to explain death and religon, and other things that would just blow their mind. Keep it simple. You also keep it HAPPY so you don't scare them or scar them for life. Its eaisy to add the bad later when they can handle it if you teach them the bad first the kid may be bad. Simple Socialogy. We teach were good because you don't want the youth growing up thinking all presidents are bad, or we killed indians, or whatever. We can add that in later. If you teach hate early the child will hate when its old.

Hopefully we get wiser with age. Our textbooks are not as patrotic as you would think. Lots of schools in the USA are big now on telling the other side of history and often we are painted as the bad guy. Each country will build its self up in its own schools it would be dumb otherwise. We are taught and we teach to think for yourself and not to always belive what you read, hear, see. O yeah you can be both right and wrong at the same time.

I will make and have made the argument that our treatment of the American Indian in the 1870's-1890's is right on the same scale of mass murder. Only differane is it was on the battlefield and not in prison camps. America is no angel but our reccord is cleaner than most.

Hitler did all kinds of bad stuff no question and by numbers alone it was worse. However not to make it right Hitler did have an plan and method for the madness. Sure he hated Jews but he also was trying to make a superace of people. That don't make it right but the Nazi did a lot of experments in medicine on the people they killed. I am not supporting Hitler by any means but at least he killed and got something out of it. On the other hand Saddam and his boys killed for fun. Mass graves by the thousand have been found. These are his own people to same religon and faith. He cut peoples arms off for fun not for anyother reason. Eletric shot, anal probes, lashings, gross evile stuff. Making people drink gas and shot them so they will explode type stuff. The only thing they got out of their killing was a good laugh. Thats not funny. You do. Im a history teacher and I know a fair bit about Hitler and these 2 guys. Hitler had others do his dirty work for him. These guys took pleasure in doing it themselves.

Well with all the bad news the past few weeks with sniper attacks on our boys and junk its good to finally hit back and hit hard. I am happy they are dead these 2 guys were prob. the most evil and sick men the world has seen. IMO Hitler had nothing on them.

We always do applications they are very important and if the situation is there then yes by all means use them.

Not a fan of it but I can see when it may be needed. EX when I went to college I was already a balck belt in Shotokan. I started another style. My Sensei told me because I had a understanding of the basics he would just do one test and jump me up several belt once I got the given kata down. I still did everything but your first few tests are pretty simple if you know what I mean.
