  11. Well our gradings are done by higher ranking people and masters come over at certain times to host gradings, our sensei tells you in person if you had failed the next class. As for ceremony alot of people just grab them after class, however I and the senior belts know only to wear the belt when we are told to...

  15. Well for shotokan karate kata, i find the Best Karate series is very good...
  16. ummm id say the guy(dunno his name) in one of jet li's movies at the end, hes in a uniform, was pretty funny when he beat the first guy up.

  19. I think any martial art that gains popularity usually gets a bad rap. I think this is beacuase for any number of martial art schools, for that type therell be a large number of mcdojos and the ratio for mc dojos increases as the martial art does, I find sometimes karate gets a not as but still bad rap outside of the martial arts community because of improper training and 6 year old black belts from the number of mcdojos, and of course movies and such....
