  1. Finnish adidas online budoshop http://www.sensei.fi/ Take some finnish lessons and then order
  2. But still you dont have to bee stupid, since your not going to be any quicker you must mor relay on your brains. Maybe you should say to those youngsters that they can take little harder the match. Or then you can hit few times little harder, in some point they realize that you want to have some harder training. If the other guy is hanging around against you it is opponents fault if he aint prepared.
  3. Renshinkan karate, lot of kicks, using your own body to build up the power. Spinning techniques, and in close combat we use strong parts of the body (elbow, knee). Full contact boogutsukikumite is used in renshinkan competitions.
  4. I succest renshinkan karate, full contact matches called boogutsukikumite (thats how we spell it in finland). We use gear to protect our body and then bring it on
  5. My style is karate, Though I started it just to lose some weight I ended up losing much weight I like kicking and in renshinkan style there is lot kicking, 60% kicks- 40% punches. Ive thoughted that I start boxing too when I have time, since I can`t use my hands too good. Flexibility is the one that Im good at, and is there better way to use it than kick the other in the head
  6. no contact and light contact is good for rookies, full contact is good for those who have trained more. In renshinkan we use some gear to prefent injuries, and then fight with full contact. Of course there are rules where you can hit or kick. no contact in back and below belly. But you can hit or kick in head for example.
  7. Yeah, Im blessed with flexible legs and arms. Stretching is sometimes very boring since I can do all the moves straight ahead into maximum. Im a real spaghettiboy
  8. Yeah, though I use two tonfa`s.
  9. In karateclub (Kusanku) where I train there something like 120 kids training karate. There are something like 160 members in Kusanku. They are not there to bring money, Kusanku does not work for business. Kids are the future of the kusanku, and the more there is kids in club, the brighter is the future. If you start training karate at age of seven, you will be a tough one when you are twenty years old. But why do they train, perhaps they think that karate or some other martial arts are cool. Little part of these kids continue training when became adult, and they are the one that keeps the martial arts alive. There are several martial art clubs in Imatra, but since kusanku is the only one that got courses for kids, kusanku got big advantage to others. Other martial art clubs are having problems finding enough trainers, kusanku have problems to find enough time to all
  10. Finnish karatesensei Ilpo Jalamo 6.dan said that after getting old you get litle slower and weaker, but using your brains you can beat younger and faster opponents. I`m young but I have noticed that I am no match against older trainers of the same karateclub. Experience is a good advantage against younger trainees.
  11. Chuck Norris of course or Steven Seagal Beeing a student of Masutatsu Oyama would be interesting. Though he is the soke of different style that Im trainin but I`ve read in books that he was a hell of a fighter. Renshinkan soke sensei Isamu Tamotsu also would be in high place in my list, perhaps I dont have to tell why.
  12. Same as in renshinkan karate, perhaps cause our soke used to train judo when he was young.
  13. 3.kyu green belt in renshinkan karate.
  14. Few guys failed their test last december, they were trying blue belt. And one guy did not even had a change to try since the sensei said he had not trained enough.
  15. In renshinkan the order is 6.kyu -white belt- 5.kyu -yellow belt- 4.kyu -orange belt- 3.kyu -green belt- 2.kyu -blue belt- 1.kyu -brown belt- 1-10.dan -black belt- Im currently in green belt.
