well it's 4 months and when you get to green belt it gradually gets longer as we progress.

Woo, I got the belt tonight! Everyone in the club passed which was cool, seeing everyone in their new belts and stuff.

in about 3 hours i'll know if i passed or not.

Well all went well, as far as i know, will find out if i truly pass on tuesday.

not been in a tournament yet but i will be in my first on 26th june.

Has anyone here ever failed one of their gradings? I haven't but i've only done 1 grading in my life.

if 8th kyu is your brown belt you either have loads of belts or brown belts a low rank?

Yup got my first grading in TKD this afternoon, i'm grading for 9th kup (white belt yellow stripe) and i can't wait. Wish me luck.

good luck, i'm testing for my yellow stripe in tkd in less than 3 weeks.

I usually shout Set (number 3 in korean).

i and people at my tkd class usually shout 'set' no one knows exactlly why though, habit i guess.

... after you finish a technique in TKD?

I was sparring with someone in TKD and i fell over backwards while doing a push kick, 3 seconds after i got up i made the exact same mistake 2 more times.
