Muay thai Round kick
TigerHeart replied to Armbar's topic in MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Competitive Fighting
Theres alot of varetion to every fad in mauy thai, theres the kick where you do the downward roundhouse etc. let your body relax, then when you about to kick pivot your front foot forwood by 2 inches the same time as turning your hip into the kick whip it out so hard your eyes nealry close, just imgine theres no pad but say your kicking the pad holder, try to do with the shins not the feet to be good praticed both left and right leg shadowboxing will help you, -

well do your best hope you face a thaiboxer from thailand someday, when you sparr do yuo clinch how hard were the low kicks, how hard did you box, I went on the floor two times after sparr with the instrutor my leg is sore... Muay thai is about respect if you have no respect you'll not become a real thaiboxer, its baout the heart and the mind if you know you can beat somone you will enter with confidence -
Hi, I just started muay thai for about two months now, my background was karate, and im doing very well, it depends on gyms and the Instrutor, my second day I sparr with a good muay thai,he was teaching me how to use corect techniques posture etc, a while ago I ran to the corner shop I was out of breath now I can run till 1.5 hours your fitness will improves as long as you stay active. Before I come to mauy thai i've done 3 months of kickboxing archived my white sash in the NAK, I was doing very well, so i moved to muay thai if you want to box train if you want to be a champion train hard! Why do you think? you should say I want to do mauy thai, becsue out of every art out ther mauy thai has alot to offer, knees, kicks, punches, elbows, clinch also I have a phuhuyuth muay thai book of mae mai... If you get the chance to sparr, try to sparr with the guys that is stronger and better than you, so you can improve, no point of beating a guy when his down or weaker than you...the techniques you will lern isn't hard but its not easy anyone can used muay thai techniqes.

and to be fair agian this is coming from a 16 years old guy, why do you think the japanses pOk their nose in other arts and name it kickboxing and then Kyokushinkai theres a link,,,what do you think they did it with kickboxing, and you can say that to Kyoukushinkai as well, Bruce lee did visit thailand, as mas oyma try to beat up an old man who wasn't a champ, and mas oyam did train by the thai in japan... Why do you think the Navy seal did chosen MT, and not kyokushinkai or sanshou, why did china chosen san shou???? they did fight with the thais fighters innit...after throwing them out of the ring with handicap, Everytime when my freind goes to a karate club, etc went against this 10x karate champ, he said, ''no knees, no elbows,'' my freind agree then he Ko'd in the first round in front of his friends,,'' 1. Muay Thai (thailand) Krabikrabong, Muay Boran 2. BJJ (Brazil) 3. Boxing 4. san shou 5. Judo 6. wrestling, 7. jeet kune do -

And you should Know how san shou was form while it dind't exist becasue the thai's were busy kicking Gungfu * in the ring, now what did they return us with respect NO!!! they make a new form and name it, then throw us out of the ring...get you Knowledge right.. -

Before you can write which is ultimate or not, make sure You've been there yourself, all the fights, I won't say which is the best but here are some of the efftive art in no order, 1. Muay Thai (thailand) Krabikrabong, Muay Boran 2. BJJ (Brazil) 3. Boxing 4. san shou 5. Judo 6. wrestling, And now, if you read back alot of history, kyokushinkai make me sick to my guts, san shou was from china when there fighters lost to the pure MT, so they form them and throw MT out of the ring, from all what I've know alot of people know kickboxing but not alot know muay thai, how is it, becsue MT were there no one Know SIAM (siam) so all the Jpanese as you know how they copy people did went to ther country and let MT train them, all this links, also MMA have to add mt or soem sort, The most rituals respect I had were with Thaiboxer, ther beatuful art of Wai kru, the true beauty of Muay Thai, FACT: most MA began after MT, you can argued all you want,I won't say I have good knowledge of Muay thai with only a month training, I would say if you dated back Muay thai always there, THE BELT IS IN THE RING--- I have done a few, boxing, kickboxing, karate, ninjitsu, juijitsu myself, and felt sorry for the Unknow country as it derserved more respect...the kid in thailand normally from the north study muay thai after school, kids at the age of 6-7 began to train rigoruosly 5 - 8 hours a day began with 12km run, in the morining then 5km run in the aftrenoon, they would kicked a heavybag for 3 hours atleats a day, the childern cry when they train and when they went to the ring to earned some money for ther familes, ther blood are pouring over the cash that they earned, work hard with blood and sweat, in the days they kicked bananas tree instead, The muay thai uses,knee,headbutts,throws,neckwrestling,feet,fist,elbow.... Even if they are Spurebly condition very powful they still earns little money...aftre Muay Thai have began popular many people staart to come to Thailand to train wheather they are karateka's or world champion in ther style.. when I study karate, and went to a tounament, i knock a guy down and was disqualifed, in sparring, but I did well in katas' but to train in ''Conditiong your body VS Katas are two different aspect, I could do katas' all day but i can't keep up with what MT are doing for 1 hour.... MUAY THAI THE KING OF THE RING AND IT WILL STAY THAT WAY NOMATTER WHO WHAT STYLE COMES UP..MT have dated 4000 years from ayuttay becsue the temple have burnt after the war.... I have lots of respect for those BJJ guys, and other style that is nice to us, but often or not, MT styltist were being disrecpect -
Well, This was when i've hav'nt done any MA, when I was 14 I moved to a different class in my school, a guy chuck a pen at me to see my reaction, and then he chuck a book, I got up walk to him grab him by the neck raise my fist, (from nowhere a fist fly into my face) Then I realise he had a freind, I staggerd back my nose was bleeding all over my shirt I try to run and grab in but, the whole group try to rush me, then the teacher stop us, I went to the door and wait for the teacher instead the guy thta punch me, walk out so I ran and (push kick him) I havn't done any MA the kick look like a teep,he felt back with shock, in the wall i punches him, stomach, neck, and grab his neck before that, we got spread and he was trying to get me,

Muay = Boxing Thai = Siam = Muay Thai, Muay boran krabi krabong, have been dated back 4000 yeras ago, many books and temple history war lost against the burmess war...burmess soldeir burnt the temple in ayuttaya, now it is a tourist place, the soldiers in the burmess dug the ground and burn the temple inside out, Muay Thai has form about 80 years old, they take back most of the leathal moves, such as '''hanuman twai wean'' etc Muay Thai uses the fist, leg, knee, elbows, and headbutts. After the foreiners have seen mauy thai many styles use an copy the Muay Thai moves, such as BJJ or Kyukushinkai into theri arsenal, Long, long time ago, muay thai boxer use it in the military to defend themself, but now they use formly for fighting, festivals...most Boxer generally comes from poor background to earned money and fight as young as 12 years old, when his 17 he'll be a pro. There many mastres teching mauy thai, difffernet styles, mae mai the masters tricks, Go visit thailand, and it'll tell much more than internet site, or try it out yourself, visit mau thai spirits to foundout some moves, muay thai is the only art that have alot of secrets in them, the tiny skinny thai's can Ko'd people much bigger than them..so Muya thai respect all the way,,
