  1. Kickchick you couldn't have said it better. I believe thats why we all get into Karate in the first place even if we never know it.
  2. Evil percieves good as evil. anonymous
  3. You are soooooooooooo lucky to get to do something like that. I wish I was in your shoes.
  4. Yes TKD does but it does have many other things (punchs, blocks, etc.)
  5. thankz for the website.
  6. I think that by paying to go to class you've already payed enough. Plus think about all your time you use up.
  7. Ya your right. TKD has scared away people that would have tried TKD out too.
  8. No you should think about leaving that school and try another in your area.
  9. That was SWEET!!!!!!!!! i wish i could do that but i would be afraid to.
  10. Ya i would try to switch forms.
  11. Ya they use those targets on the chest to judge points.
  12. right over left and left over right.
  13. you may want to think about warmth it should help alittle.
  14. i would have to say TKD is very nice because you don't have to be athletic to do it.
  15. mine would be the sweeping style giving you time to get away.
  16. I thought it was introduced by Japan like you said. I don't know who told you the other sorry.
  17. first of all i want to say that what your teacher did was just wrong. Emma was right to walk out but she may have done something else had she not been so tired.
  18. I don't know about you but my school only did it once a year.
  19. Yes to know when to punch or kick and when to block is key but if you don't then someone could use this againist you very easliy.
  20. My school was a very nice place to releave pressure not by kicking the crap out of someone but by getting your mind of it and into blocking the persons kicks and punchs.
  21. I say that if your good and ready taking on a more than one art can be a good thing but don't forget what you have learned in the past.
  22. Once again it just depends on the person your fighting (do you know the persons style?). But if you know how to block well and still stay on your feet then no kicking isn't required.
  23. well i say it depends on the person you fought and what they had learned (all schools being different). Some are told to move more or get in closer so don't give TKD a bad name just because you fought an novice.
  24. i guess it depends on whether the person you are fighting may try and take advantage of a leg just sitting there.
