  1. The thing about it is that everybody is waiting for something but if we are all waiting for something then nothing will ever get done.
  2. Chi/ki is the energy that flows through the body in all living things and yes even your dog or cat has chi/ki. Its the energy that drives us to do something, it can heal people, make people stronger in the mind and body. Also by directing the energy you can learn how to do all these things and more. I've been learning about chi/ki for about 1-2 months now and trust me I can already somethings that other people cant believe and......well.....most don't.
  3. I just got into it because I need to learn how to defend myself.
  4. Hey Nick, why do you want to stretch? tell us.
  5. Ok nick you can stop following my posts now.
  6. Let me tell chi/ki is real. I have seen and felt the ki healing work on me.
  7. Thats a nother thing. I don't think i would fight people very often. Because i'am afraid of husting them to much. But adrenaline becomes a key player. I just really think if with the what I know and rage working for me I could could take about 3-4 poeple down in about a minute. And thats what scares me i'm not a bad person that always trys to get into fights so rage mixed with adrenaline is my biggest fear in fighting.
  8. I always try and punch though and this ishow it works. It works by telling your mind that the target is farther away then it really is. At that point your mind sends more strength and power to you arm and thats how it works. But it also makes your fist easier to control making you hit the target easier, faster, more powerful all in one little punch.
  9. Thanks for posting on this subject guys. But really how many people here who are in TKD really feal a punch or a block any more. By the way I also wanted to say that I just feal sorry to anyone who messes with me and I just pitty the person who trys to fight or hurt any of my family or friends.
  10. I use it to get away from the world when everything seems to be coming down around me. And to make sure I don't kill some really stupid person who picks the wrong time to mess with me. And only when I need it or just have time to fill.
  11. I have to say that weaknesses aren't a bad thing they are what make us human after all. Besides if someone thinks you have a weakness to something and is going to use that to thier advantage and you overcome it doesn't that make it thier weakness?
  12. That was very helpful jiggy thanks. I would say that I believe that we control more thing in life then we know. The thing about it is that by simply doing or saying one thing we (without knowing) effect our lifes and not just our own either. For example a friend of mine used to punch me in the arm as a joke. Well I thought about trying to punch back and I did. I saw a change in him he started to punch less intill I was the only one punching. Now what i'm trying to show everybody is that people don't think very much they only react. Like when my was thinking about punching me he thought twice because that left his guard down.
  13. Even if they did hit me........*laughs*......it wouldn't do anything to me. Because in TKD you will get hit even some blocks can hurt but we all have to find a way to put that pain out of our minds. Then and only then will we ack where other people would freeze about the chance that they may get hit. So YAY for us.
  14. Your very right you can never hesitate. You either fight or you run those are your choices nowadays.
  15. That was a very nice story. We should all learn to try and strife to be like that.
  16. You make a really good point. See I would more likely just avoid the punchs mainly because it makes them look pretty bad. But what really gets me is just because someone hasn't seen me fight they think they just beat me up and be done with me. Well I kind of feal sorry for them. Because I know if I had never seen them fight I would think twice you never know who your fighting. But thats ok if they want to fight me they will find out the hard way and most people wouldn't even learn from that. *sigh* they will just never learn. 17. LOL...... I wonder how many people would fall for that.
  18. Don't you just hate it when people talk about beating you up and all you can do is laugh because odds are you could throw him across the room. Well you see I always have people doing that to me mainly because I took an oath when I began TKD to never use it inless you don't a choice (life and death). So all I learned can't be used inless one of them has a gun or something. But the problem is that I would just like to show them that maybe they should think twice about trying to pick a fight. But anyways I would like to hear from any of you out there that my have to or already have dealt with something like this.
  19. I would like to say that the belt dosen't matter. Do you still know what your doing? Did they take away your brain? Because as long as you still have those you will always be a blackk belt. But once again it dosen't matter.
  20. thanks for this very nice history of ki/chi. It really made some very good points.
  21. The problem is politics we can't let the nuc's fly. Besides that would be the easy way out for bin laden don't you think?
  22. Listen I have been reading about all these people that seem to use ki/chi and I keep wondering how can they do that. Well you see I was wondering if maybe someone out there in the world could give me some more insite on ki/chi use and/or maybe links on how to use it. So please if you can post any links that you may have. Till then peace out.
  23. I just kind of "go blank" you could say.
  24. I think chi/ki is a real thing.
