  1. I recognize it's a very vague statement to say "regain overall flexibility." Ultimately, I'd say the goal is to stay loose. How about this: What is the best stretch for each muscle group that is commonly used? I would say that I want to stretch my triceps, shoulders, back, abs, groin, hamstrings, calves, quads. Any muscles that I'm missing?
  2. I saw Ninja Assassin. One of those totally over the top, not believable, bad acting/dialog movies, but as a workout nerd, it was cool to see how jacked Rain got for the movie. I saw some clips on youtube that showed some of his workouts. It was a pretty cool movie with all the fight choreography. I DO want to see The Warrior's Way...looks like the same thing...
  3. Hey guys, I'm looking to regain overall flexibility (pretty general, I know). I think I'd want to put about 10-15 minutes/day (after a hot shower, right before I go to bed). What do you consider a good routine/what are the must-do stretches that get the important muscles?

  7. Hi everyone, I'm Joey. I joined this forum as a junior high school student a long time ago. I did karate for about 10 years, then got out of it to play lacrosse as an upperclassman in high school. I'm in college now, I'm training to become an officer in the US Army, and I've gotten back into martial arts (BJJ). Anyways, I haven't been on this forum in a long time and I decided to check back in. Looking forward to talking to you all- -Joey

  10. I would go with a blacked out BMW 3-series coupe...black rims, tinted windows, smoked lights, black leather interior. And of course, some modifications...sound system, catback exhaust, other good stuff. Or an Audi S4 with the same treatment. Of course, I can never afford this...
  11. New question: How does one know what a "full night's rest" is since we all have different sleep patterns? It seems that regardless of how much sleep I get (4 hrs, 6 hrs, 8 hrs, 10 hrs) I still get a bit drowsy sometime during the day.
  12. I had a question about sleep: If you get 8 hours of sleep, is that the same as getting, maybe 5 and then taking a 3 hour nap later. (health-wise and energy-wise) Would you feel the same and still get the same health benefits from getting a "full night's rest"?
  13. That's funny that you would mention a method like that... I just recently started keeping a goal notebook--goals that I achieved are highlighted, ones that I failed are marked over in red. Some of them are things like get an A on my math test, others are behavior specific things. It's been working out pretty well. It is a great idea, thanks A.Orstrom.
  14. I don't think it's so much personality as it is behavior. I'm not sure whether or not it can be done but if I can, I would like to try.
  15. Well, I occasionally think I'm annoying... and I can just imagine what other people are thinking if I think that I'm annoying. I'm sometimes make jokes and say things that are met with the chirping of crickets (aka awkward silence). I find I'm a lot more satisfied with my day when I'm quiet. I also tend to laugh at a lot of things, even if they're not that funny, and I'm sure this gets annoying. So what do you think?

  17. It's been a long time since I've been on KF. Anyways, I had a question for you all... I wanted to ask how one would go about changing their behavior/personality. I am interested specifically in becoming quieter. I consider myself a bit too talkative and borderline hyper... my goal is to become quieter and calmer. What can I do to achieve this?
  18. The FBI witness protection program told me to... Seriously, I don't really have a good reason, I just feel like doing it. Sounds really weird and random. My last impulsive decision to change my hair was to buzz it... and my girlfriend wasn't too happy that I didn't tell her beforehand. In all honesty though, I just feel like it. I got something figured out--had a friend be my guinea pig today so now that I know what it looks like, I'm going to do it.
  19. Had a quick question about changing my hair color. I'm male, late teens, really dark brown hair. I want to change my hair color to a light brown. How can I do this cheaply? I was looking at the "Just For Men" shampoo in color but that targets only the gray hairs. I want to spend less than $20. How can I do this? I've never done anything like this before so any advice is great.
  20. Just had another one-- Teach me something really quick. My reply is: I'll teach you a technique that's guaranteed to drop anyone--the "Ching ching pow" They say what's that? Then I act like I'm cocking a gun as I say ching ching and then I point my fingers and say pow. I love that one!
  21. Just a curious question for you knife carriers (or anybody who has ever seen a knife)... Which do you prefer? Fixed or folding? I just recently developed a liking to the neck knife. Also, where (on your body) do you carry your knives?
  22. I think that's what the kid at my school was driving when he got his ticket. Or maybe it was a 944. (His daddy's Porsche, I might add, he already crashed his car, so his dad let him drive the Porsche while they fixed his car... good move.)
  23. Well, bushido_man96 is really dominating this thread:) Ran on the treadmill (6:28 mile) Benched for a bit, benched my own weight once, did curls, pull-ups, worked my shoulders.
