The good thing about it is, you have checkable background when you register, and have credentials to show when asked,,, i don't think politics will get invovled with these

Try and bring a friend along to sit with you for a few lessons as a witness, or type up a letter to give out to all students, which will include the parents/guadians etc, to included subjects on etiquette etc, but writing it so not to seem like it's getting to you. As they do sound like bullies. It all comes down to respect when entering and leaving the Dojo, which includes EVERYONE

Hi i train both sides of denton in shukokai karate-do give us a pm and i'll reccomend a good club in your area.

I have studied Shukokai for over 10 years. As i am now 2nd Dan i love it and any shukokai school would welcome you. it has the same roots at the end of the day. follow yor own path

i first started at 15, but then found an intrest in girls. did not restart then till i was 24 now 11 years later 2nd Dan (nidan)

i agree that 99% of fights go to the ground. but you have to relise you have to get passed the punch first

why is it so difficult to get hold of shito-ryu shukokai books ?

at our club we grade when the student is ready for the next step on the path. We had a student leave and he took about 3 others with him, because he kept moaning when was he going for his grade. He was a novice and only been at my class a couple of months, it was'nt his time. So he left to go to another club teaching a completley different style. Although he only attends once per week they graded him after 2 yes 2 lessons, because of this ease he took a couple more of my students, so they could earn these easy grades.. Why do the lack of teaching ability and think they will gain repect or are the instructors of these dojo's want a fast money earner with to regular grading costing students with nothing to gain.

Does anybody know of any good / intresting seminars coming up in the new year (2006) that are held in England ? i have tried looking on the net but not getting much luck.

I often visit other clubs as an observer. And i have noticed the amount of lack of respect todays cadets/juniors give to there instructors. Don't get me wrong it happens at my club aswell, i try my best to explain the ettiquette, and somtimes i have to give out punnishment e.g pushups etc. But as our cheif instructor has said students were afraid to speak in class in the good old days. How far today can we dicipline students without politics etc getting in the way ?.

I've have noticed lately the many different coloured karate gi's on sale, red, blue some off pink etc. Please tell me what's it all about ? Is it fashion ? Is it religion ? Is it Right ? Am i behind the times ? am i just a traditionalist ?
