Does a McDojo school have a display counter selling items? Does a McDojo school have a Coke machine or candy machine? Does a McDojo school have a coffee/consession counter? Does a McDojo have beautiful colors all around from carpet to "stripes", or other, on the walls? Does a McDojo school have a "Black Belt Club". Such a club that "signs up" students that are "working" towards the "coveted" belt? Like a bait dangling in front of a fish. Or a apple on a string/pole dangling in front of a mule to get him to move? Does a McDojo school add "stripes" per every colored rank? What next? Coined bathrooms? Coined dispensing machines in bathrooms, etc.? Free toys or items upon every belt completion? Drive up lessons?

I advance students accoding to ability and not time past. Some feel upset, but hey, I am not going to levy my morals or standards. Some schools try to get the same srydents advancing with the same time, per ranking. They don't want to upset their custoners-er students.

Are there any known or "bonafide" Drunkin Boxing instructors? -

Yeah, its good for kids -
Heh, that happened to me. An instructor at another school started me at Blue Belt. First he had me spar Blue Belts. Not to boast-no contest! Each training day, he would have me spar the next highest rank. Within 4-5 training days, he had me sparring his "Dan" Black Belts. Now the kicker, I still wore the Blue Belt! Man, you should have seen the "faces" on those Black Belters. Finally, that instructor confessed to them that i had other experience.

Just like martial arts, each has their own value.

In that case, you can cross train in "Hang Over Style" -
If it is too different schools, per methods, you have to be expected to learn at "ground level". Look at this way, you go to a school for mechanical drawing (drafting). Later on you go to a machine shop. Although you can "read" the drawings, doesn't mean you can go straight at running a machine to produce the item.

What he did to me or demonstrated was just 20 minutes after meeting me for the first time, he is now, and until he dies, my teacher. Then your experience was not on par with his. A large percent of the tome, a student will net best his instructor. Well, I know in some martial arts, it's possible to continue practice well after 'retirement age' what I was saying is that you don't see 65 year old kick boxers... I would almost agree. Kickboxing as most is known, is realtively "new" I completely agree with you and your perception of KI/Chi existence. I know that most of what is seen is easily disproved. I only wish you could meet my teacher! But I look forward to discussing it more. I have 10 years worth of stories to share. And like I state, and continue until to, is that I have not closed the book, or close the search on it.
