  1. Man, I wish you guys the most luck in the world, If you get this you surpass me!!! GL
  2. My hardest week of Training was Hell Week for football in 1998, our coach expected us to win all of our games that year. He was a real imbosel! No one liked him. All he wanted to do was yell and win. That is why I do karate now 24-7 than football 24-7. Not putting down anyone that likes football. I still love football though, just to make that clear. THE BEARS SUCK BUT YA GOTTA LOVE 'EM! IMHO.
  3. Man, I missed it!! i really want to see that though!!
  4. Me too muaythai, but I am in a lifting class and we have to max every month, so I just decided to start a post...but I guess not many people do this sort of stuff! BTW, kudos on that 205 on clean, i can just barely do 175!
  5. That seems like a pretty good age to start your own dojo. My uncle started a kuk sool won school when he was 18 but it went under rather fast!
  6. Hey Tigerstyle, the reason that people go down in weight is because they either get too old of they reach their break limit. My coach said the average persons break limit is 350 lbs. He says that if you can get over 350 in your lifetime you are a gifted lifter. The break limit is the max a person can do in a lifetime. Many people say that it takes about 15-20 years to go from 150 to 350. Thus being to old to be a hardcore lifter. When people get too old to bodybuild (40-50) thier muscles start to deteriorate because of their age, it happens to everyone. Thus, they cannot bench what they had a couple of years ago.
  7. I as well am in Okinawan karate but we have a seperate judo class.
  8. (these are all in lbs. don't want you to think i'm a freakin mammoth!!) Bench: 205 Clean: 175 Dead Lift: 365 Squat: 285
  9. My dad just bought a brand new Lexus SC430! w00t w00t!! HOLY CRAP, I know it can't compare with Withers's car but this thing is a freakin rocket!!! 302 hp for a small car w/ LexusLink nav system. A Mark Levinson Sound System!! lemme just say one thing...well worth the money!!!
  10. ...Japan.... Well, that would be kind of hard to find. I would recommend communicating with your sensei on that one!!!
  11. It is a fight of the sexes. This shoudn't have even happened but in my opinion he shouldnt have the right to hit a girl. Even a massive beastly one!
  12. G'day, WOOO KOREA.
  13. Wow, the arrogance is overwhelming!
  14. Wow, that is why they call it the "Special" Olympics! It makes me happy to see people with mental and physical disabilities help each other. They are good examples for people that could easily do the same without having to take the chance of losing a big race! About your story, Bon. Just ignore the idiot! Just be sure that there is no physical contact involved.
  15. It seems rather good. If I were you I would go to the school and get to know the director though.
  16. Nice to meet you sandpalm, if you want to introduce yourself go the th "Introductions" Thread. I bet other people would like to meet you!!
  17. I think I am probably a Chevy Tahoe, not too big but rather powerful but lags at speed a bit.
  18. I had always thought of my sensei as a person who enjoys money too much. But we had our SWAT Team class last Saturday and he said, "He makes the money to spend it on us." i though about that for a while then realized that we have so many novelties at our dojo. It must have cost well over $50,000 to make our Dojo and my sensei doesn't have another job. He must spend quite a bit of his money on his students and his dojo. I really am grateful to be a part of his SWAT Team.
  19. They need to make a B.O.B that has a mace in one hand and a sword in the other that swings around at the person when he/she hits them Or they could make a B.O.B with a machete and a Tommy gun. Or they could make a B.O.B that has a sai in one hand and a rocket launcher in the other!!! ....sorry.
  20. ...you can't be serious...
  21. Hey RonRyu, are Tokaidos better than Shureidos??? IYHO.
  22. Sorry about posting on an announcement thread, but that is an hour ahead of Central time right?
  23. IMHO I believe that the Nunchaku or the broadsword are the best weapons to use in a kata competition becase they are flashy and awe inspiring!!!
