  1. back knuckle, reverse punch
  2. It truly depends on who is teaching you the pressure points. Not many points can you just touch lightly with your finger. They can be pulled off on more advanced fighters if the training is right. Just my opinion
  3. I do agree on the whole that training solo can be difficult. But it is no where near impossible. I have to train solo, that's just how it works out monetary-wise, as well as solitude being a preference of mine. No, you can't bounce your ideas off of other people. No, you can't spar or have a support system. But, you can get into a solid, focused environment. Just you and the bag. The bag is the biggest baddest fighter you've ever met. You own him. Nobody judges you, just your own focus. Granted you are missing some things you couldn't get in a more standard environment, but you can get much more in other areas.
  4. O yeah... O yeah... Like myself, you have the fighting lust Dave
  5. No I didn't create my own system, it's actually kind of a long story, one not worth retyping at this moment, but thanks for asking. I just found something kind of eclectic and incredibly effective. I'll explain it if you want, but I'm just here for the conversation otherwise.
  6. Hi, I have trained in some Aikido, some Kenpo, some Okinawan Shorin Ryu, and some Tae Kwon Do. Granted I've found a method of fighting that I think is close to universally applicable, but still I love to hear all sides of every issue. Nice to meet all of you.
  7. I definately agree with a Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu crosstraining method. You get some sweet sweet and effective kicks and punches, as well as some pretty nice ground power.
