meibukan does not do any unsu kata, your friend might do it but the Yagi family in Okinawa does not teach that kata. the aragaki unsu is very different from JKA shotokan unsu and much shorter.

money is better spent on the last book from Toguchi seikiichi or the history book from higaonna morio...any book by yamaguchi is a poor investment...I know this because I own them all.

Is your dojo in Oakville? Stay away from the dojo at 300 Lakeshore! I Live in Oakville but train in Etobicoke in traditional goju ryu.
