Well I wanna thank all you guys who sent good luck to her as she passed last sunday!! She was so nervous and reached her goal of getting her black belt before shes 50, 2years early!! we do the opening sequence in kokutsu-dachi, and if you mean the move with the grab and strike to the knee-cap, we do this in cat stance! Hope this helps!

Just to let u guys know, i think i speak for us all back here in England when i say that we are all jealous!!! The weather in sheffield is weird actually, dunno bout ne1 else? One minute its raining, then its boiling, then theres snow, then gale force winds!! Basically its rubbish and really depressing!!

did anyone see those pics in the paper of that heroin addict that died? How horrific was that! That poor girl! My heart goes out to her parents. I really do think it was a good idea to publish those pics, it will have put a lot of people off trying drugs. What do u guys think about those police photos being made public? right or wrong?

i was bullied by one of my former karate teachers, and it was his attitude that caused me to have a severe asthma attack and get rushed into hospital as he wouldnt let me stop. He used to send me and my mum home so he could spa with his mates when we'd already paid in advance, got changed etc. He was an idiot and treated me like dirt. It served him right when i moved clubs and 2years later was junior world champion!! he wasn't happy and i loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA served him right

i think they do reflect the moves in the the kata eg: my FAVE kata gankaku in name after a crane (the bird)on a rock and the kata contains that move where you balance on 1 leg (soz i dont know the name of the move!) I dont think its ironic

just a quick question...do u think that students in a club deserve to be shown a higher level of respect based on their grade, their age or their sex? Has anyone ever had problems in their club, not being taken seriously by other students because of this?

at my old club my sensei used to get me teaching when i was only 10years old...no word of a lie! He was crap and i left there coz he bullied me. Even though he shouldnt have really got me teaching at that age, I was never listened to. I was a 3rd kyu and no-one ever took me seriously ESPECIALLY the men for some reason! When they didnt take me seriously i gave them press ups which annoyed them even more, i think it hurt their pride. I dont think it is right for people as young as that to teach but it did learn me a thing or two about discipline.

my choices are changing everyday! it looks like im going to eventually gonna do a legal executive course, so dont be getting into mischief!! pretty cool dont u think? dont do on my word tho , i'll probably wanna be a vet or sumthing 2morrow!!!

dont worry about it mine gets worse...my best friend ended up in hospital the other day , her and her boyfriend split up and so she tried comitting suicide...she took 30 asprin and a bottle of whisky. Luckily shes still with us, god knows how but id be lost without her. Also i dont know whats goin on with my boyfriend, looks like we wont be together for much longer anymore...what a waste of 2years.We did 2much of this :argue:and not enough of this

I see your point but if it was hit bang on the spot you wouldn't really need to put much power behind it. Its all about the technique.

OF COURSE!! I do shotokan and im a 2nd dan black belt...if i started hap ki do etc i wouldn't know the differences, the katas etc so id want to start the same way as everyone else. People that did start another style with there original grade from the previous style wouldn't deserve that grade as they haven't done everything what there belt suggests they have! sorry to anyone who has started another style with there prev. grade!

a blonde was sat in the hairdressors waiting to have her hair cut. The hairdresser got her scissors out and noticed that the blonde had headphones in. just changing the subject slightly, well quite a lot actually, but has anyone ever been a victim of witness intimidation? how the hell do u cope with it?! (im having that problem at the momont in case u wondered!)

what style are they from? i've never heard of them mate, sorry!!
