Those are some pretty solid rules. if you want something the elaborates on them a little more pick up "The Fighter's Fact Book" by Loren W. Christensen It's full of training methods, tactics and many writes and wrongs of training. it's also got a section on improving your kata and fightig in tournaments, but i imagine thats not really of any interest to the people in the Combative forum. I'd really agree. -

Well, five years old black belt how cute that means that the child must of train about since 11 months years old...theres no 5 years old black in the world...prove me if am wrong. -
Am not tenses when am sparring pattrens forms etc, just use it when som one punch your stomach.

Very true, some people want to exceed their technique. By grading you understand the true meaning of your belt, by gainning lessons makes you lerned more techniques. Like me I prepare for my test and wait...or longer but some just want to grade as fast as possible, I train and truely earned my belt. Ucehi I'd agree with you I got all lessons I needed exceed twice as much my sensei said your good enough to even grade the next but I study twice as hard what I suppose to.
