  1. I usually just jump on them n bite their ear off Tyson stylee...lol! Nah, I'm not much of a fighter. I just kinda stand there n let them thrown punches till they get tired lol... there was one time though when this guy grabbed me so I flipped him over my shoulder n pinned him down... it was pretty cool actually cos I didnt do any kinda martial arts at that time, I just came out with it. As for Sparring in class, I generally take a defensive stance and guard my body area, while ramming the guy/girl who im sparring against with my arm before comming out with some punches n kicks when they drop their guard. I got a fair bit of weight on me so I find that works to my advantage
  2. 23 going on 12
  3. Interesting you mentioned about 'every' street fighter game. Do you remember the very 1st one, on the spectrum, when you could only play Ryu or Ken, and you could only do, like 4 moves haha. That was well good
  4. Hi hows it going. Im Luke, 23 from the UK. I'm White belt in Kuk sool won, gonna be taking my Yellow 'stripe' on 6th of next month. I've also done Tien Lai Chuan Kung Fu (got upto Yellow Belt on that), and a little bit of Kickboxing and Karate. I wanted to originally do Jiu Juitsu cos that sounded cool, what with all the grappling n takedowns etc but the local class was full, which sucked but that teacher who I spoke to mentioned about one of his students who taught Karate n said that he might teach me some Jiu Juitsu. So I went along to that class, got on really well with it, (although It wasnt really what I was looking for), did that for a bit until unforseen circumstances prevented me from going to that (ie: nightschool). Anyway, I work for this place called Pink Local Directory, which publishes directories of local business information (ie Restaurants, Taxi places, shops Martial Arts schools etc etc). Its kinda like Yellow Pages (but pink for some stupid reason hah), for the local area of King's Lynn (in norfolk, UK). Well this martial arts place writes to us saying they want a free lineage in the publication we do, n I got interested n phoned them up to see what it was all about. Sounded like I wanted to do n tried it out n loved it. It was exactly the kind of martial art I was looking for. It's basically a nice mixture of forms, takedown techniques (which was what I was most interested in), involves lots of punches and kicks. breakfalls, acrabatics, weapons and so on. I only really know a little bit about it, but its a damn good martial art, and keeps you fit at the same time. And apparently there's people that just do Forms all the time and they're well buff. Good sauce of fitness. And I know, cos I practice them a fair bit n I feel a good workout all round.
  5. Ye cos I really care what a bunch of strangers think about me Ye u may get the odd one, but were all adults here. Yeah there might be the odd one that might lie, but they'll soon be figured out. 6. Yeah, I got UFC 5 dvd n there was this guy who was a 5th Degree in TKD. Got his arse kicked by some guy who did SAFTA or something. All this guy did was go upto him and repeatedly punched n elbowed him n the TKD guy didn't have a chance. Man that match was funny...he got pummeled

  9. Steak.. eat lots of steak... and protein drinks. Get the choc ones. They're nice ... that'll be £50 for that piece of advice please
  10. Paah I'm drinking right now hehe ye I like to have a drink at least once, or twice a week. My favorite liquor being JD. But thats just drinking as opposed to getting drunk. I don't get drunk as much as I used too, just merry. And there's nothing wrong with martial artists getting drunk. What about all this Drunken style kung fu.. and it was Bruce Lee that invented the Drunken Snake style... man that film rooled!
