  1. Wow, ninjanurse, that rocks. Sounds great although I can't imagine how you fit it in...
  2. It really depends. Most guys don't suit long hair (in my experience!), but if they do, go with it.
  3. Alright. I work as an office assistant at the moment and I hate it. I'm going mental. It wasn't so bad at first, although it was mind numbing and I'm not very good at it. But now one of the guys @ work seems to have made it his mission in life to make work uncomfortable. I'm torn between punching him until he cries like a little girl and quitting. Luckily I just finished a bar course so hopefully I can go be a barmaid! Yes, this is an appealing thought. Next year I will be attending University studying Biology if all goes well. My dream is to be a Zoologist and study something that no-one else is really interested in, like rare amphibians or something. But that's probably not going to happen. But so long as I can get a job I'm good at, learn what I love and fit in my Martial Arts *satisfied sigh* I will be very happy.
  4. Nope, can't help sorry.
  5. Haven't we done that in about 3 threads now??
  6. Very formidible. I'm pretty intimidated. But that is physical, is it not?
  7. Ooh, that's so cute!
  8. Umm, I don't know much about Bruce Lee, but wasn't he all about the whole "still water" theory? As in putting aside emotion? I'm confused...
  9. Nice riposte! Well, it is difficult and against human nature, and unlikely to ever happen. Also, no war kinda kills the budget for these things. But I'd like to think it was possible -I like playing with weapons, as I'm sure many here do, but I doubt anyone here wants to shed another's blood, and that's what war is.
  10. OK, I'm sorry, do you struggle with a mental disability? Dyslexia does not count -you yourself said it was a gift. Finding reading difficult is not equatible with not being able to control yourself completely. Hearing voices, not being able to distinguish dreams from reality. A million other mind-fucks that you would only otherwise get on drugs. I'm sorry, but that comment reeks of hypocrisy! P.S. I'm not attacking you, I'm attacking your statements.
  11. Nice in theory, yes. But I feel compelled to point out that "unlocking" more of our brain is most likely to drive us mad. Imagine, for example, that somebody was born with telepathy. But since he/she's the only person with it, it is doubtful that he/she will be able to control it. Now imagine hearing the concious thoughts (just for argument's sake we'll say it's your primary thought) of everybody in a 5 metre radius. How do you cope with that?? And that's just a small area. How about 5 kilometres? 5 miles? People who have been born with astounding abilities that science cannot explain almost always have difficulty with day-to-day reality. Hell, teenagers, people, have difficulty with day-to-day reality! I used to wish I could use more of my brain, but upon further consideration the thought is more than a little intimidating...
  12. Ha! I'm not a Christian, but I believe in peace. Of course, I too considered the armed forces, but you can still play with big guns without having to shoot anybody.
  13. The only problem with that is that Schizophrenia is not something you can "train" away. It is a chemical imbalance and a horrible thing to live with. With the help of medication you can hope to live a normal life, but it not something you can will away. I don't really know enough about mental illness to give many facts, but I felt compelled to point that out.
  14. There is only one way to react to this... !
  15. Never, never do anything someone asks you to fo for no apparent reason with a huge grin on their face!!
  16. I like this one best!
  17. OK, that's really strange because I had to think of how an American would pronouce Iraq before I got it. I pronounce it eye-raak.
  18. Haha, an entire thread just to make fun of Kung Fu Hamster!
  19. Oh, man, my computer sucks... I couldn't see it!
  20. Nothing particularly exciting here -but quite often when we're having a break at training and we're talking I finish the conversation by bowing. Actually, what's quite funny is that sometimes after I've been doing bag-work I'll bow to the bag.
  21. What's the bet it's a joke? And what's the bet that some dumbass will buy it anyway?
  22. He shattered his heel?? Wow...
