  1. mmmm, I love that time of night just before you go to sleep where you are totally relaxed, normally it comes after the stage where you think up loads of hair brained schemes.. :)
  2. Someone probably plugged their lap top straight into the power plant to play doom 3 :) , or tripped and pulled a plug or something.

It does set a bad precedant that one problem could cause so much trouble however. Could give terror groupps some ideas, lets hope they find a way to proof the system against such incidents in the future.

  3. Valithor, When do kids start a school year in Australia?

School isn't that frightening monkeygirl (esp: for a BB:) )

"best of luck to you in your new environment. don't feel to bad, i've been in school for 12 years and i still sleep in late and forget my classes"

    me too :)

  4. I would dis-agree with the wrist grabbing instead of thumb grabbing, the wrists have alot more bend in them so the pull down would be no-where near as effective. My instructor showed me this last lesson as it happens and he got alot more torque when grabbing the thumbs. The shuto to the neck and the pull into the knee for the nukite both make sense.

I heard the thing about pulling out the floating rib aswell but that would be easier said than done :)

Hey Adrian1030, you're the same grade and style as me :)

  5. In my style the rising hands are to break a grip on your throat (or Gi etc: ) then they fingers fold into a fist, this represents grabing your oponents thumbs and then pulling them down before delivering what appears to be a grabing block followed by a nukite strike..although why have the grabing block if you just had them by the thumbs?
  6. WHipping kids with branches little or small (or indeed anything) should not be tolerated - simple as.

Bustr, Sens55, you both bring up valid points.

Master Art Monroe, if he has been training for 30 yrs could have a legitimate 7th dan using ht e years rule but something just doesn't ring true about the way the club presents itself.
