  1. Surely by putting my old studio info, I would have to get my old masters permission right? Because if I were to let's say, "not do well" it would create negative factors for the rest of his students competing. Because I remember WTF competition was like you were fighting there to represent your school(it wasn't some invidiual fighter thing). And depending on the overall students score OF THE CERTAIN STUDIO, that studio may recieve a trophy. So, I don't think I could just slap on my old schools info and say "Yes, I'm competing for this school!"...or could I???
  2. For example, I don't belong to any "WTF" Taekwondo school anymore, am I still obligated to compete in their tournaments? I am not registered to any Karate school, am I still obligated to enter a Karate Competition? If there IS a way for some 14 year old from outside of any dojo to compete, can somene give me info or directions on "how to"? Thanks in advanced. P.S: (Because my instructor set everything up for me for when I was in his school[all I needed was money to pay], this is why I have no idea on how to get in one on my own).
  3. Aight cool thanx guys. Yah I was originally training naturaly without weights, but I see in some posts that a lot of ppl are using weights. So I was planning to use weights also, but I just didn't know how to use weights with martial arts correctly. Aight anyways I'll just stick to naturally kicking and punching. Thanx. Love your sig btw Kirves.
  4. Haha...Van Damme inspired me most in martial arts when I was a kid. Still does. I think his technique is superb, makes him more of an ideal amrtial artists. I don't consider Jackie Chan as a martial artist more then he is a comedian. But yah I do enjoy his movies a lot .
  5. Okk I want to get my punches and kicks stronger, faster. Butt...I'm not sure which are the correct muscles to build. I have no interest in the muscles to build that are useless for punching and kicking. These are the muscles that I don't know if they are involved with any punches or kicks: Biceps: Do I need these for punching? I mean heck they look nice when I flex, but when I hit something with a direct punch for example a wall, I notice that the biceps lack in getting stiff. Triceps: Goes as well for the biceps. Shrug muscle: Might as well ask. Back muscles: Might as well ask. Buttocks: Ok the muscles that I'm pretty sure that are involved: Shoulder muscles Forearms Wrists Calves Quads Hamstrings Ok I don't think I missed any. The reason I came up with this idea is because I experimented what muscles lack in getting "stiff" in certain techniques. Now I'm sure a lot of ppl or if I'm wrong someonE can correct me on this perspective. Please do so by replying . Thanks in advanced. P.S: Forgive me if this related subject has already been previously posted.[/i]
  6. Yahh it already happened I think. Well, my tkd school did. And it is WTF. But the only strikes allowed to the head are ridge hand and back hand. But this is just the way he lets us spar, I'm not sure if it's allowed in WTF tournaments and such.
  7. Ic...well obviously I have not experienced these phenominal pressure points to make your nails bleed from hit under...or fall down when someone strokes you back. So, I will have no further say.
  8. Yahh that would probably work Fenris. I'll just get in touch with him and see if he'd be interested in helping me get one Butt if anybody knows where I can directly purchase one from anyone, just post up here anyways.
  9. It's just pain tolerance, or maybe he had some acupuncture needle in has back under his gi during the performance .
  10. Yah nice try monkeygirl but I've already tried that site . That number is just the phone of another TKD studio that own a Ssaurabi machine, but that Ssaurabi page is meant to just attract more students, not to directly purchase the machine from themm :(
  11. Don't get too hyped up on that stuff. I've read the books, such as "The Encyclopedia of Dim-Mak", which costed me a fortune. It is incredibly...LAME. These 2 guys are just trying to make money or something, and they try to make it sound interesting putting like "Hitting this point will corrupt ST9(stomache point 9)" and it's like the freakin rib. I mean all it does is point out the traditional "weak" spots of the human body (ribs, temple, armpit, throat, that one lil spot above the midde of the stomache and below the middle of the chest that i donno the name of...that weak part on the leg muay thai ppl always kick at...ERG). And you should already know these spots due to your current martial art training anyway. Besides, in a tournament, fight, whatever, those "Dim-maK" spots aren't going to be exposed to you. You won't observe your opponent thinking "OK...I'm ganna hit bladderpoint15 which is somewhere below the..." you know? I think that's why Dim-Mak is like least considered and not well-known cause it's delayness. Just stick to hitting the traditional modern spots today's fighters use.
  12. ARGHH I'D TRADE MY ROOM FOR IT AND I HAVE LOTTA CRAP IN MY ROOM
  13. Yo. Anybody know where I can purchase my very own Ssaurabi machine? They're tYte, my old master had one but he's like money hungry as * and doesn't wanna waste electricity or somethin puaha. Yah anyways..it looks like this http://www.jsw.com/img/content/ssaurabi3.jpg . You can do so much with it, it tells how much damage you do when you hit it, your speed, and like there's practically games on it lol since theres a mode where body parts flash and you have to hit them quickly. Yahh haha juss imagine DDR but you know fighting. Anyways..if anybody knows where you can purchase one can you let me know by just posting here?? I've searched 999x already but no luck . I donno you probably need like hookups or somethin to get it cause I've only seen it at TKD Schools. Ok thanks in advanced. Cya.
  14. ??? Bruce Lee doing good in the UFC? HELL YEAH. He only weighed 128lb, he would rip up anyone in his weight class.
  15. This has got to be the most idiotic information I have ever heard. So go ahead, contact this guy you know who can knock down a business card from a meter away, and show him http://www.randi.org , why not make a million bucks? Then you can prove to all of us that ki balls, levitation, and all that other fun-stuff is true. Then we will give you some gratitude. I hope this will end this fun ki ball stuff today, like it should have a long time ago as soon as that website name was shown.
  16. Pathetic. They've even been purchased. Don't people have pride these days? I can't even imagine what the person purchased it for...to whip it out when some bully picks on him??
  17. Well then...what do today's martial artists do to develop their kick's speed/strength?? Any suggestions?
  18. I wouldn't like to have a street fight with soemoen unless the person is a well martial artist, because: 1. Non-martial artist would just aim for something like the groin 90%. 2. They lack a huge amount of digity and pride, because of this, they will jump you with 8 of their scummy friends if you decide to fight with one. If I DID have to street fight, and I realize he was not a martial artist, I would watch my balls and back like hell!

  20. I can see Steven Segal looks practically invincible with his aikido skills, in the movies . Why is it that the art of aikido is a huge lack in the known fighting tournaments you've heard of?
  21. O..when I spar, I'm a little scared at first, or you can say super cautious. But then when they hit me, I get like berserk . And go Freakin crazy, still using martial arts tho, it's not like I'm swinging my arms and legs all over the place. Haha I donno why, I just get freakin pissed and my freidns say I get this sick emotion on my face like as if I'm ganna kill them. Yup, and what they say about how anger-blinds is true, but you sure do kick ass when it happens.
  22. To partipate in those tyte ass tournaments! K-1 San Shou And I donno about Pride and UFC, maybe after I find a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu dojo to train a hell lot in, considering that I seriously lack skill in grappling. And maybe do some computer work on the side, no need to go into details, don't wanna bore anybody
  23. A lot of them are lacking the actual training and lessons that they should be teaching. I mean the WTF Tae Kwon Do I used to go to, I would see black belts and white belts in the same classes, doing the exact same thing, the only difference is that they were taught different forms and the black belts would be chosen to show examples. And there wasn't any "special black belt session" either. LAme. MONEY HUNGRY MONEY HUNGRY.
  24. Okk I'm kinda practicing on my own for now, but I have this question that's been bugging me for a long time. Is there any flaw when you weight train? Like having those weights on your ankles, and constantly kicking in the air with different kicks to develop speed and muscle? Like maybe...stun growth, or F'd up knees? I'm only 14, and I guess I have a lot of time to grow, which is why this is a pretty big concern to me.
