  1. The punches straight to the throat were impressive...but a lot of those people were in visible pain after they got hit (including the girl doing her master's test, that passed out in the middle of it)...that tells me that he's doing nothing for them, and that he's a fraud.
  2. A big problem with today's marketing and public perception is that ANY martial art is labeled as "karate." The average joe doesn't know the difference, and hte word karate becomes synonomous with martial art. This is misleading to those of us who know better. I can't count the times people have asked me what kind of "karate" I do...in reality, I haven't done a true form of karate in years.
  3. I just got this CD...while it certainly isn't a musical masterpiece, nor will it win any awards, I do have to say it was mostly entertaining. The skits with Stone Cold were great, and John Cena has some serious skills rapping. I'm probably opening myself up for flaming here, but it really wasn't that bad...not something I'd spend 16 bucks on (thank goodness I didn't), but entertaining, overall.
  4. I would suggest an eliptical machine over a treadmill...it's more of a full body workout, with little to no impact on the knees. Also, don't necessarily cut meat out, but make sure its LEAN meat (chicken breast, turkey, lean steak, salmon, etc...). For me, I'm always eating steak as much as I can, but its always very lean (sirloin is a good cut). Nutirition is above all the most important aspect of any workout program...your body simply cannot build muscle or burn fat without the right kind of fuel.
