  1. Ankles, knees, and my thighs are painful.
  2. I take Wado Ryu Karate at the North York YMCA in Toronto Ontario. We are the North York Wado Ryu Club Sensei Alex Wraith 4th Dan is our head instructor. Canadian Wado Federation oversees our Club.
  3. I have been doing Wado Ryu for almost 5 months now and I still cannot sit in Seiza Position. It is too painful still. Does anyone have any suggestions or exercises that I can do? Fran
  4. My strategy is this Try and go to class twice a week (more at Grading Time) Do my best each and every class Do a little better than I did before last class Ask questions And Learn what I can along the way
  5. I have been doing Wado Ryu for about 5 months now and I would like to do some Cross Training for Karate. I have yet to ask any of the higher belts in my class what they do. I would like to build the strength in my arms, shoulders, legs, as I lack strength in these areas. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

  7. I go two times a week. My first Grading which was June 21 I went three times a week.. I plan on doing the third class when my Grading comes around.
  8. Our Adult Class is three days a week. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I go Tuesday and Thursday and have not missed a class yet. I have gone to a few Saturday classes when I was nearing my First Grading. I am planning on going to more Saturday Classes.

  10. Hello My name is Fran. And I am doing Wado Ryu Karate and have been doing it for about 5 months. I am a 9th Kyu. Passed 10th Level on June 21.I am really enjoying it.
