Sleep is necessary for our bodies to repair itself and grow new cells. Most people need 7-8 hours of sleep a day. Some only need 5 while others need 9 or more. To find out how much u need when your on holiday or something go to bed at the same time every night for a few nights and allow yourself to wake up without an alarm clock. Your should record how long you sleep and take the average. Try and get this much sleep from now on to stay healthy.

mmmm, I love that time of night just before you go to sleep where you are totally relaxed, normally it comes after the stage where you think up loads of hair brained schemes.. :)

When we sleep, we are drawing upon the infinite energy of the Universe. Humans really only need 2 hours of sleep to regenerate the energy. The rest of the hours are usually for the physical body to relax. If you practice chi kung, your sleep time decreases, since your energy level increases. That is why chi kung masters sleep only a few hours a day.
