I dunno, there's something less appetizing about eating a big slice of kansas in the morning then there is about fresh pancakes. I'm sticking with pancakes.

Read the article. Fluff piece! I live in the "hilly" part of Kansas and man is it "hilly"! BUT, and there is always a but, if you go to the tops of those hills, called plateaus, you can see that even the hills are generally flat on top. It is really quite awe inspiring to see how God created Kansas.

 Nice. Hey, I come from Canterbury (which is considerably smaller than Kansas, believe me :P), and that is sooo flat. When you fly over it it's like looking at a quilt; completely horizontal and devided into perfect squares of green or brown.

And Kchenault, if you think about it it's quite conceivable that a pancake the size of Kansas wouldn't be that flat! Depends who made it I suppose... :D

In a complete opposite to this story my grandparents live in a small town built on a hill-plenty of flat ground nearby but they went ahead and built it on the hill anyway-its the paperboys I feel sorry for.

Don't get me wrong, I like living in Kansas. It is full of people who tend to think like me more than not, all though, Lawrence is full of people who do not think like me and it shows, it is very humid and hot here in the summer and can get cold in the winter. The humidity is killer here. Makes it most unbearable at times. Last week we were topping out at 104 degrees with 95% humidity! ARRGGHH!!

Now it has been about 85 with 50-60% humidity. Much nicer, I have had my AC off for 2 days now. What is it like in MA?
