Last week, i purchased the ROCKY DVD box set. this is in my opinion, the best series of movies ever. i just wanted to make this thread sort of as a tribute, since movie 6 in underway. whats your favorite rocky? least foavorite? what about scences and character you like/dislike, and your opinions on the over all script itself (which, if anyones intrested, i can email you the original script)

Rocky 6??? Wow. I've never seen any of them start-to-finish. I've just seen bits and pieces now and then (darned channel-surfing)...but to be honest I'm not sure which scenes belong to which movies!!!

 

I'd love to just sit down and watch a couple. Maybe have a marathon night...

thats what i did one day. i had to go to work at 4:00 pm, so i rented them all and started watching at four am, got done with number five at 3:45! you should see my room, its like a rocky shrine!

5 had to be the worst. Followed by 4. The first three were good. 5 though was actually kinda dumb. I think Stallone should let dead dogs stay dead. JMO

i think alot of ppl will have that opinion and im not sure your wrong. five was good in some ways, but i say that because im a die hard fan, if every critic gives rocky 6 two thumbs down i still see it and buy it just for the novelty. Four was desent i thought if they had fixed a couple of things it would have been good:

 

1. get rid of the freakin robot! i know its they 80's but for the love of god! this is rocky not robomaid!

 

2. make the technology thing with the russian a little more realistic. good idea, but to much fiction.

 

3. anyone notice this movie was just like 8 music videos streamed togather? notice how rocky 1 only had one song in the whole movie (gonna fly now)? which one was better? i rest my case.

ive never seen any of the movies fully either. i think monkeygirl has a good idea.

i agree. hey mokeygirl, me and jake are coming to your hopuse to watch rocky! ill suply the dvd's, you supply the popcorn, and jake will supply himself.
