It was announced today that Saku Koivu has cancer. The 26 year old native of the Finland and the captain of the Montreal Canadiens was rushed to the hospital shortly after arriving in Montreal from Finland. There doctors discovered a tumor in his abdomen. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Koivu family.

Wow, that's awful BlueDragon. My family has a history of cancer - my mom and one of my aunts had it and it's a very scary thing - hopefully they have caught it in time to get rid of it. My thoughts are with the family and of course Saku himself - he's young, so that could be something in his favor in regards to beating the cancer. Keep us posted in case they don't write about it as much here in Vancouver OK?
